SCX10 Picture Archive - No talking

This is my setup for now. I know its not crawler status. Still has capability with the sc10 tires/slash rims (2.2-2.8"), traxxas Digital 2070 servo, Castle sidewinder esc, 27t saturn motor, Hand Brother servo relocator, 2s 5000mah Lipo (planning to get something smaller to install up front), and 2.4ghz radio.

Start of a fun project. I actually ordered the honcho after this scx10. Might be selling this one and stick with the Honcho. Maybe even better, keep both!

An SCX-10 in it's element

Had this afew weeks now and really enjoy getting it manky.

First modification was replacing the stock ESC for an Mtronilks Viper SSR

Next modifications were a set of RC4WD Steel Wheels and some Trail Busters.

Recently I have fitted a Traxxas waterproof servo and swopped the location of the battery tray and receiver box to put the weight of the battery over the front wheels. I have swopped out the stock motor for a 35T Warrior from JPCustomrcs.

Next mod will be to try and get the receiver box fully waterproofed and maybe do some light body modifications to make it look more like a Land Rover.

Here are some pics in the fresh snow we woke up to this morning. I shoveled it all onto a pile for some climbing. This is one of the first two honchos Corey at Rpp got in. My dad got the other. Enjoy!
