Waiting on parts to come in for my 2.2 still, LOL.
But shoud be ready with in a week. I hope.
Should be good for may but needs of the military and all that shiz.
We'll see...........

Hey guys. I missed the last GTG. My radio's throttle trigger broke. I sent the radio off thursday and should have it back in probably two weeks.
I should be able to make the san Diego comp.

I am about to take the plunge and get our club listed here on RCC. Sound like a good idea? Also I think I may have a source for t-shirts, any interest there? If there are any you SD guys out there lurkin around that have not come to a GTG please do you are welcome any time. I am setting the date for the 2.2/Scale comp for May 12th so mark it down and we'll make it happen.

Or it could be a Mercedes G Wagon. I see the similarities from the side view. Anybody goin to Pamona, I got a ticket but I can't see makin it.

A shirt would be cool, got a price in mind?
Putting my TLT together finally, LOL.
Got most of my parts, have hit a couple snags, like servo/link mount, and stub axles being to short. Not enough thread even running the blackfoot axles, damn fat azz pede rims, LOL.

Why don't ya just narrow the pede rims. You can run the TG10 stubs as well. Let me know if ya need parts I probly got em. Shirts would be fairly cheap 10 or 15 bucks. Also waitin for the vote to see if we got the club listed here on RCC. I am headin to Felicita this morn for a couple hours around ten.

Felicita....I take it you are a escondido area guy, if anyone is going to be out farther south today or tomorrow, I'm going to get a servo right now so I will be looking to break something later. :)

A couple of us are over near mission valley.

Cool I'd get a shirt. I think I might get the tg10 stubs do they need the ears shaved or are they the same as stock, the blackfoot axles had to be shaved. I plan on narrowing the pede wheels that or buying a different wheel that's already narrow, like the hpi super nitro or similar. The problem with pede wheels are either the stock hex is to fat and doesn't allow the wheel nut to get enough threads or the pede wheel is to thick between the hex and the nut. I might shave down the side where the nut goes so I can get more threads that and shave the hex a little. I have the metal tamiya hexs since the plastic ones are craptastic, but don't see shaving them, maybe some plastic hpi hexs might work they are kinda narrow.

brock grimes you might try some short barrel nuts to get a better bite.

totalxbadass. where do you live? I 'm in northpark/hillcrest area.

I'm in santee, Just got back from the dam here at mission trails. It's not bad. Would have been better if I would have brought all my batteries charged, doh!! Got thru one pack and realized I forgot to charge the other. It was fun while it lasted though.

The Dams a good spot I want to get the scalers over there for some runs. Maybe we can do a GTG there next saturday if people are up for it.

Sat at 9:00 at the Dam sounds good to me. Need to wipe on the dust and do some crawling.

Sounds like a plan, nice and early there may still be some parking. Bring your scaler fool thats all I'm bringin.

The event flyer is done, I think. Heres a peek. I will finish it tonight and try and get it posted in the comp section.
