San Diego RC Crawlers

Hey Muscle sounds like you had a good time. Sat is my wife's B Day and sunday is SOCAL Comp so let's kick some SOCAL A$$. Who is going??
 
yeah it was fun. I think you guys would enjoy it too. bring hiking boots and prepair to walk about a mile or so.

What comp you talking about? The one up north? unless I get a ride I'm not going. That's why I'm trail running this weekend.
 
Gotta get the TLT built before I can do much.

Took the TLT aparts today. The only carnage I have so far is the front wheel axle snapped an ear off and then the dog bone ate up the knuckle. Took the rear axle apart and everything looks perfect. Got my chassis in the other day. Now I just gota gather a few more parts and lock up the pede tranny. Probably have that done next week. we'll see..........

Brock I have the stock axles and fatrock axle c's.

I just picked up a video cam. on loan from a friend. So when everyone has their rigs running I would like to have a group GtG for footage.

That invite is open on the date. in otherwords whenever.
I was there again today and Stripped out the Ring pinion in the rear axle. and don took a tumble and broke a servo arm.
i will repair before tomorrow and we will take some video. I will try to post the footage.


took some video saturday. currently in the editing room. will post in a few days

Lookin forward to the vid, couldn't make it down because of other obligations. The final comp was a good one, some hard stuff on all three courses.:twisted: The drive on the other hand was the longest by far, another hour and I could have been in Vegas.:flipoff: Gonna have to start thinkin of when we want to hold our comp.
 
Quattros does that mean you got last place? just kidding. that 11th is better than i got at the spot #1 but at least i wasn't last.

where did ian finish and raul duke?

i'm going to work on the editing some more tonight. I have to go to my friends and use his computer because mine is to slow. and i don't know how to do it anyway.

I took 2nd in Super beating five of the six Hustler rigs that were runnin and I think something like 14th in 2.2. I would have had 3rd overall in the series but SoCal decided to not drop the lowest comp score at the last minute convenantly nudging me out of any top three finish. (yeh I said it, so what, I'm callin The Turko files)

Raul Duke kick in the comp in super!!!!
Ian ran 2.2 And got 24th that was his frist comp and the on course 3,he did not get the bonus 10 points. I got 12th but that is out of 45.
 
It was A total scam, we know raul duke was on the podium in the so cal series.
Any way away from the competition arena here is a video of some trail exploring in florida cyn.
Only about half of the trail is in this movie. There well be a part II coming.

Yeh, watcha gonna do, come back next series and kick butt. Looks like a fun run, alot of terrain down there time to pull the scaler out. Not a bad editing job either."thumbsup"
 
Been making the scaler a little more water proofed and I need to run it. I kinda need to stay in my neck of the woods but I'm up for a run at Felicita if theres any interest. Theres a new section of the park to check out still and it looks like fun. Post up if you wanna. I had to take a break after last comp it kinda steamed me a little.

I am thinkin of May 12th for a comp/scale bash etc.
 
I will try and make it up this weekend for a gtg. I would like to try out the new section. Yeah sucks you got screwed on the comp.

Anyone going to the RCX show in Pomona? I am going to try and make it check out some new products and see what I can get my hand on.
 
Thats what I was thinkin, run the 2.2's in the morn then on to the real fun, some scaler action. You up for this weekend, maybe set up some scale course's for grins. I am going to go around ten or so.:lol:
