San Diego RC Crawlers

so at the dam on sat. I will try and have my scaler running. I am not going to bring my crawler. Going to scavange parts off it so my scaler will be running. Do I need to waterproof it? What page are the directions to the dam on?

Its on page four bout halfway down. Water is always fun but not required, me I will be looking for some water, mud action."thumbsup" Can't wait to see the scaler.

Got my 2.2 scaler up and running using a stock silver can for now.
Got some torque twist but that's to be expected.
Wait till you see my hard body, just for puttering around, I'm running a bushwacker other times.

I'll post up a pic if I get a chance.
I'm up for the dam run."thumbsup"

Also where is it at on this map the end of father juniper near simeon dr or over near the star:

Comp flyer and info is posted in the comp section for all to view. Anybody who wants to pitch in and help give me a PM. I should have some flyers done by sat.http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67227

I had fun watching.. I hope my radio comes back soon.

With the time off I have been working on some bridges and ramps in my yard for the crawlers to play on. I will get some pics and video up when my radio comes back.

It was fun runnin thru the swamp, are those bridges portable maybe we could use one for the scale comp. Never tried those rims, I think I am gonna go the 1.9 route for the scaler with reduced 2.2's.

Well good news is all me pieces are still working. "thumbsup"
I'll be ready for the scale comp in may hopefully unless any unforseen
dumb sh!t comes up.

bridges

well the bridges and ramps we built so far are specific for the backyard course, but i think i will build one or two that are portable.

looks like you took your truck swimming again."thumbsup"

I'm up for a Sat GTG, Just got in my new Steel yokes, barrel nuts and 55t motor. Looking to try them out. Got my head light buckets glued in, looking for tail lights, and I'm working on my roof rack.

It's a good thing my parts came in. See anything wrong:

LOL

OH BTW a 2wd locked rear axle, is fun to watch with that stock silver cans wheel speed.
The rooster tails and doughnuts was cool.
