Couldn't stand the hummer body, so I fitted a New Bright 2004 Silverado body the day I got it. Next day rigged up head and tail lights, about $6 worth of LEDs and battery connector. Bent the stock links, Tower mg995 servos, Plastic skid I rigged up on the porch, Rover white dots with about 10oz's weight on the front and none on the rear. Moved the lower links to the inside of the chassis since they were constantly hanging up and covered them with poly tubing. Semi-Drooped the stock shocks. Added a 9.6v 3300mah battery, gave it tons more power, and put the 8t pinion on the rear to fix stall. My First crawler and I'm lovin it!!"thumbsup"

Tracy's RS10

ok so here is mine. not much to brag about. wing mod. mounted some longer shocks to the axles. lowered body 1 inch. cut foam in tires and drilled two holes in rims. removed half the side tread (mistake) of stock tires to help with grip. tires are much more softer but still are terrible.
Needs....better tires, better electronics, 540 mod servo. lock rear steer.
wants.....new chassis and body, bent 4 links, lipos batteries.

First time crawling cherry popped

Ok so this is the first real crawling action my RS10 has seen. Mods...wing removal...longer shocks mounted on axles...55T RC4WD motors...hb rover whites...pretty much it. steel gears on order as well as hardened pins. I was very impressed with the way this thing crawled. Only ran one battery (stock) so about 20 minutes. Freaking Hot out. I even went upside down in the water but no damage and wasnt very deep. I totally see the addiction to this sport. I can't imagine how well a better crawler and electronics would improve the experience. Definately not comp worthy but still fun. Might have to try it out though just to see how it does. Definately need to do something about the chassis and skid plate. Hangs up alot but 80% of the time I can get out without reversing. Also need to try clocking the axles to see if I can get shocks from hitting the motors. Servo needs upgraded pretty bad.8)
