This might be stupid question but I’m wondering if anyone has shortened a regular 12.3 crawler frame to fit a touring body. I have these 2 frames I don’t use a redcat gen7 pro and this Vaterra v100 with the c10 body. The gen 7 is taken all apart but I have the parts the only piece I’m gonna use on the Vaterra is the body. This popped up in my mind since the Vaterra v100 parts are hard to find and I don’t want to break anymore parts on it. If anyone has done this please give me some tips, photos, etc I’m up for the job just don’t know where to start. Thank you

Thats possibly do-able but a pretty big step up in tire size and width for a touring car body.

What are you after in terms of tire fitment? Are you okay with the tires sticking out and having to cut the fenders open?

My tire fitment is actually perfect they stick out probably by half an inch, I’m new here I want to send some photos of it do you know how to? it’s just saying https.

You need to use an image hosting site like Imgur. Upload the pics there then take the links they provide and paste them into posts here.

It should just be a matter of adjusting your body mounts and poking new holes or coming up with new mounts if needed.

EDIT: and shortening the rear links to suit the body.
