Projects

All done with my axle just have to tidy up the steering links and put it on my mini ss rockshow. My final width is 7.5 inches and I am using the stock xr wheel hexes at this width but I opened up a set of losi mrc hexes for it so that I could make it whatever width I want over the 7.5 inches.

I also had the traxxas overdrive mod and put it in the axle while i was assembling this axle so I cant wait to test it out against my daughters stock mrc to see how it does on turning radius!

Great work on the axles Jeremy!"thumbsup"

Just a little new something I am working on. Hope to have it all done soon and ready for the next comp.

I pinky promise I wont use dig but yes I have to do some trimming and the wheelbase is 109" once it is flat bellied it will have 25" ground clearnce with tires aired up. This should be a fairly stable yota!

Jason...what'd you get their weight down to? Did you see the pics in my build thread of how I drilled holes in the bead channel around the wheel?

i did see that, i wasnt really doing it for the weight i just like how it looks and the fact that hardly anyone runs these rims and i havent seen anyone mod these

Yeah...was just curious. After looking at the pics again it got me wondering what those would look like if you milled the "outside" of the wheel face down around where the hub screws go so that you could flip them and run them "backwards" on an AX-10 type rig to gain track width. I think the deep dish look would be nice...essentially converting them from NT to WT

That's great news, my friend. I think drying it before powering back up was the right move. Congrats. Who knows, I might try to use it for my crawler again....:lmao:
