Projects

Tested it out yesterday. Spent more time on the roof than the wheels. So I lowered it down some. Also was way too fast. Had a 35t 550 motor. Gonna swap it out for a phantom 35t and re-gear it. Let you know how it turns out.

I figured i could share some pics of my heavyweight shafty weighing in @5.2lb. Here is my ax-10

WOW...that truck looks great Derrick!! Good job on the steering...and glad to see you got your chassis too "thumbsup"

Nope, that's not the chassis he ordered, but it is the same chassis. And no worries Derrick, friends don't let friends crawl with all terrains, I will have what you want before the comp."thumbsup"

That thing looks schweeeeetttt Derrick. It appears that I am way behind on my spending........but I figured I would get a comp in first so I could see where the bar is before I remortgage my house to put hopup parts in the Losi. It does move forward and backward as it currently sits so maybe I'll get through a gate or two. I am anxious to see what all you've done to that thing.

Ok, This is my $680 project I have been working on for the past month or so. Losi MRC pro with some upgrades. Thanks to all the help from Jeremy, Derrick, and Craig, it will be ready for the comp on Saturday morning. My last part that I needed came in the mail today. Just gotta slap it on and re-align my electronics.

Thanks! It has been fairly inexpensive at this point since I basically pieced it together and I was able to get what I wanted. I have a lot of tuning, but I definitely have a good foundation "thumbsup"

Looking good!

I've been working on this rig for a SCRCC member. Tonight I removed the dual FXR's and installed dual BRXL's decased and shrunken down with the BEC into one package just like on my berg, Michael's Berg, and Sterling's berg. I left the Rx in the case simply because it's not that much of a loss in weight to remove it...and I still would've put it in the same place...so why bother right?

A week or so ago I removed the upper links this rig came with which were all thread sleeved in stainless tubing with some kink bends and replaced them with some aluminum tube threaded with 3mm Al set screws (cut off screws) with TRA1942 rod ends. These took quite a bit of weight off the top of this rig and really cleaned it up.

Looking forward to seeing the new owner drive it now 8)

List of goodies include:

Super 300 CVD's
Super 300 front 3rd gear
Drilled gears front and rear
Machined stock front tubes
RC Axlemaster 4340 rear shafts
DLux delrin rear tubes
Traxxas Big Bores
T1E Rockshow SS Chassis
Dual BRXL's
Hitec 7950 Servo
Team Brood 16t CVR 5 slot motors (buttery smoothness)
BWD Motor Savr's

All being controlled by a 4PK!

The wheels and tires aren't staying on the rig...they're what came with it, but the new owner preferred to run what he's use to. If any of you are interested in them let me know...I'll have them at the comp with me this weekend "thumbsup" They're 10 spoke Wheelworks wheels with aluminum faces and delrin hoops. The front wheels have a support ring attached to them which allows you to run a super soft single stage foam up front. Pretty cool setup actually.
