So as things typically go...I start out running my Wraith in a somewhat reasonable manner...but then as time goes on I find myself at full throttle more often than not. Long story shorter...went crawling here locally with some other guys and at the end I decided to jump the Wraith off the top of the rock covered bank towards the parking lot...and then...

I'm ready to do it again...just gotta find a shaft to replace this one...it broke right at the hex pin hole

Watching you drive it like you did and all that happened was this makes me want to put some VP axles under my wraith chassis with a bullet proof transmission. It has been a while since I had a good basher.

here is what I've been working on lately. Thanks for all the help some of you have given me. It's a Mattzilla chassis. I've never worked on an SCX chassis before. So here goes:
Ar60 axles w/HR lockers HD gears, axial universals,
with VP chubs, knuckles, lockouts in red,ARB diff covers.
Mayham Eng. wheels w/rok locs.
All Vp steering,tie rod,panhard kit.
All VP Ti links.
Vp trans case w/RRP gears. Had the lower one piece gear drilled so I could run Traxxas screw pins.
RRP wraith metal 80t spur/slipper.
MIP drive shafts.
Tekin Pro4 w/20t pinion.
Going to use a MMP speed control.
CLAW winch.
Haven't decided on 2s or 3s yet!
OK here are some picks:

In the process of checking my Wraith out before tomorrow morning's run to Poinsett I found out why my drivetrain was binding. Evidently mine and Derricks antics at Nats took their toll on the motor plate

Luckily enough I won an Axial machined motor plate (AX30860) during the raffle at Nats...go figure

All done with my axle just have to tidy up the steering links and put it on my mini ss rockshow. My final width is 7.5 inches and I am using the stock xr wheel hexes at this width but I opened up a set of losi mrc hexes for it so that I could make it whatever width I want over the 7.5 inches.

I also had the traxxas overdrive mod and put it in the axle while i was assembling this axle so I cant wait to test it out against my daughters stock mrc to see how it does on turning radius!
