Project Zeus: Cycon's Steven Eugenio Trophy Truck Build

Hey rapid, just realized that your shocks are not mounted to the chassis. What changed with your original plan? Was it because you had to add the limit straps?

Yeah I'm not sure, mounted vertical it didn't have the correct compression. It had less friction on the shock body so I couldn't set it up right. Real trucks can do it because they have bypasses. I may try it again but the way I have it now it's working great.

One more question, i saw on one of your pics that the a-arms look like they had been shaved down at the end where the caster blocks connect. I'm guessing you did this to gain more down travel or?

Thanks Sean!

And yeah RNYC I did it to gain more down travel. Very simple mod and it works great "thumbsup"

Well it's safe to say I had fun yesterday! First real workout for the truck and it did awesome. Couple role overs but no damage :ror: Video coming soon "thumbsup"

So sick! Almost couldn't tell which truck was which haha. Got my desert vid up, wasn't great though since my brother doesn't like filming for me and I had to use the youtube editor.

Nice. Loving what appears to be ice (we don't see that in so kali). Now the part that sucks - cleanup on a raw chassis. Nice edit, you've got them down to a science. I think the 2 truck format is awesome! I still love the first beach bash, that truck killed it. Looking forward to see her with a body, tearing it up. Well done.

Thanks MAC FAB, glad you like the vid man! The ice was fun :lmao: Stil have lots of tuning to do. Mine was sitting a little in high for some reason.. But yeah having 2 running trucks again is great, just less opportunity to use the steady cam. Which beach bash you talking about though? Very first with the green lights?

Btw clean up is already done haha, completely tore it down this morning :ror:

Awesome video! Those trucks look killer running together and I love watching those rear axles! Gonna get started on mine after I finish moving.

Your work is inspiring man I would love to build one of these trucks... Maybe sometime soon :) great work bud!!

Awesome video, truck looked great!!! What are the Two links you added to the back of the truck for? Spare top links?

Thanks man, glad you liked it "thumbsup" Can't wait to do more. But the other bars I could of just welded in, they're just removable on the real one so I decided to do the same.

Haha thanks, it got you too. :lmao: So many people are building these now, it's crazy..

I spy... a spare driveshaft... You should try to attach spare parts around the truck in case of breakages kind of like the real things. That'd be pretty kewl
