Thanks for the compliment...loving the rear steer. Some of those bigger magnets are nutsWhen I was younger I had some the bigger ones given to me was told not to snap togther because they will break your finger.
Awesome job on the build. The rear steer is super cool. 8)
Build is looking great! Waiting .for the double xr steering  May have to do that to my JK to make it ridiculous hehe.
1st some pics of the different bodies that I was trying out...
Looks ton better with the wheel wells.
Did you gather the parts up to do xr steering ? If you think have steering now, wait till you do the mod. :ror:
:razz:Those wheel Wells are terrible! Very unrealistic all white like that.
Dude! I love fords, but my other faves are jeeps "thumbsup" and this is my new fave build ;-)
Ha! I caught the tail end of your build, but read the whole thing. One of the cleanest rigs I have seen, I'm actually glad to hear that you didn't make it a shelf queen. (Your rig was featured in a magazine right?). Seems like it doesn't take long to get them rock rashed. I was checking your JK and a few others out as I started planning mine. I started to build the trail running/weekend Jeep theme but I ended up changing directions...I wanted something a little different.Very nice build you've got going here. Makes me miss when my Weekend Warrior JK was still free of rock rash. Seems like you and I had several similar ideas, although mine was more of a budget build and I went for a light gun metal paint over silver. I've been planning a rebuild for a while now and this thread is only adding fuel to the fire. Here's a couple pix of what mine used to look like before I beat the living hell out of it.
Keep up the great work man. Look forward to seeing this thing completed.
Hi Josh,
Any update here? How'd the dash work out? Inner fenders?
Andrew
Judging by the rest of your work, it'll be fantastic. This reminds me of my friend's 1:1 Jeep (his is red though, and no rear steer ;-) )
