Pics of your latest purchase

I beat Vanquish to this terrible color years ago and this truck never grew on me.

I’ll take it off your hands 🤣

Worst part of not knowing my color is not being able to prepare with wheels, etc.

What's that black thing at the bottom center of the photo?
I'm still unsure which wheels to go with.

The black thingy is metal mounting tab that attaches to the back of the headlight bezel.

I ordered the same stuff. Wasn’t sure whether there would be space to fit the light buckets behind the grill though. There ain’t much room back there
I wasn't sure either, but thought I would through it in my cart since I was ordering. We'll see how they work.

That’s cool. Are you able to Perfectly duplicate bends with the gauge?

Could save a guy some significant time
Smart! Dig the printed mount and gears. I bet easily under a .05* once you find its backlash. Currently looking for a new bender.

I did one test bend just to see if i could get it close to accurate. The hard part is getting the angle finder zeroed out perfectly since you have to put some pressure on the tube before you zero it. I was within .5° on my test so I don't think it'll be an issue.

It'll be easier to replicate bends than my previous method (magnetic angle finder stuck to the tube).

Over the last few weeks I've picked up a Corsair TC100 gaming chair and another Spyderco - a Shaman, in the standard CPM S30V (partly because I just loved the heavily stonewashed finish) with a Lynch Northwest Titanium clip, a Flytanium Ti backspacer, and Putnam Micarta handle scales...

Few parts to finish up the Losi Rey's, a 239mm chassis to get that Tamiya Gti to fit the MST TCR-M, and, some monster truck tires, just because!
Also found a set of nitro 4tec steering knuckles that didn't cost an arm an a leg (custom project) so I went ahead and bought a set.

Going to try my hand at converting the fms "1/10 scale" fj40 body to look like the smaller 1/12 Toyota Fj45 truck. However, this will be 1/6 like the jeep and the jimny.

I bought some Chig Chores or Chavtechs from AliExpress. I opened them up to check out the insides, but they were actually filled with a tiny bit of oil and I didn't want to deal with the mess. It hadn't leaked out into the bag so that right there may indicate they are better than Axial and Vanquish shocks that leak inside the RTR boxes!

Not overly impressed. They aren't smooth and the lengths somehow differ a tiny bit. This may be a purchase fial, but that's TBD...

The lengths are probably just off because of how far they threaded the rod ends on. I've been thinking about buying a set of those and swapping in Traxxas internals.

I got some off temu. Rebuilt them with new parts from Traxxas; pistons xrings spacers and diaphragms. They are decent enough for less than 20 bucks. The big bore from Traxxas are not all that much.

Most recently I grabbed a mini z ready set in preparation of the mrd high angle conversion kit. I am still waiting for some option parts to start the build but should be a fun little drifter

2023 gr68 premium 13k on the ticker

you know, because "on sale" 😆 lol, and racecar
Sweet! Congrats! I thought this car would push Mazda to give the Miata more power, but apparently not. Hopefully you don't get the Subaru engine failure.
