Pics of your latest purchase

I've read those are decent knives. Kinda want to grab a few just to keep in vehicles and whatnot. At ~$10/ea I wouldnt feel bad about screwing it up or losing it.

Seems fine enough for a cheap EDC. It was $10. Currently out of stock in all colors so I'm not sure if it will come back. Ozark Trail does have other $5 and $10 knives in stock though.

Seems Fakebook has a number of kits with the Orange Panels being delivered opened today.

I Didn't Get Orange Panels.......

But I didn't get the CF Variant either.

But the Battleborn Livery is just fine with me.
Being my first Vanquish Kit or rig for that matter, I am eager to get to the build.

I honestly don't love D2 because it's not stainless, but yeah I couldn't pass up an orange and black knife for $10.
We went over there yesterday but I forgot to check and see if they had any... probably because-

I had to wait for about 10 minutes in order for the Walmart Security Team to coordinate an operational plan that would grant me clearance to be able to access a $3 pair of f#@k!#g NAIL CLIPPERS... all while they displayed a completely disgusted attitude at the audacity and entitlement that I surely possessed in requesting a viewing of one of their most hazardous and sought-out high-tech nail trimming devices.

AND when the elite two person squad arrived, one of them said with complete disdain "So what one you want?" to which I replied "Um... I'm not sure since there are like 5 or 6 different ones. Can I just see this one here and maybe that one over there?"

And you would've thought that I was telling them that I was going to burn their first born at the stake while I piss on them because the eye-rolls and 'hmph's were as if I was subjecting them to one of history's most hideous tortures known to mankind.

Many times I feel as if I've just lived too damned long in this world.

Free shipping is a wonderful thing. I also have my groceries delivered so I don't have to deal with people.

Have you tried 12C27 steel? I still own/use an EKA knife daily that I bought just over 30 year ago now, decent edge retention and very easy to care for.

I haven't. I'm not a knife nerd nor do I know much about the different types of steel used in knives. I also haven't tried too many to notice too much of a difference. My Spyderco SPY27 has been my favorite steel out of all the ones I used so far.
