Pics of your latest purchase

We went over there yesterday but I forgot to check and see if they had any... probably because-

I had to wait for about 10 minutes in order for the Walmart Security Team to coordinate an operational plan that would grant me clearance to be able to access a $3 pair of f#@k!#g NAIL CLIPPERS... all while they displayed a completely disgusted attitude at the audacity and entitlement that I surely possessed in requesting a viewing of one of their most hazardous and sought-out high-tech nail trimming devices.

AND when the elite two person squad arrived, one of them said with complete disdain "So what one you want?" to which I replied "Um... I'm not sure since there are like 5 or 6 different ones. Can I just see this one here and maybe that one over there?"

And you would've thought that I was telling them that I was going to burn their first born at the stake while I piss on them because the eye-rolls and 'hmph's were as if I was subjecting them to one of history's most hideous tortures known to mankind.

Many times I feel as if I've just lived too damned long in this world.

Seki Edge nail clippers are sold on Amazon. Made in Japan. They're kinda expensive but worth it.

Free shipping is a wonderful thing. I also have my groceries delivered so I don't have to deal with people.
Agree but we order a great deal online as it is and once in a while I'd like to put my hands ( or at least my eyes) on something before buying. And if it's an item that is only a few bucks, I'm more likely to return it to the store than I am to jump through the hoops to make an online return.

And I know this isn't the rant thread so I'll stop after this but... Same damn store a couple weeks ago and I decide to buy a can of spray paint... Same deal... walkie-talkies ablaze to establish some coordinated effort to assist me. And that's fine... I expected that ( although Lowes and HD don't make me hassle with this mess so next time I'll spend my rattle-can money there). And the guy was perfectly cool.. no issues.

But then he tells me that he'll have to stash it in the electronics dept until I'm ready to check out. So I tell him that I need to grab something all the way over on the other side of the store, so can I just have them ring up the paint now in electronics. Hassle but I'd rather do two purchases than to have to hobble to one end of the store and back ( and then back across the store again to exit). I ain't young and my legs/ feet don't always do so well these days.

So I tell the woman in electronics that I'm here to buy the paint... to which she replies do I have any more shopping to do. I tell her yeah and she then says that I'll have to go grab my other items then come back to electronics to purchase it all together.

And I'm sorry but I kinda went off a little bit. I wasn't shi##y to her but I went through the scenario to make sure I understood and she confirmed that I couldn't buy the paint and then walk around the store to finish shopping. Why??? You at that point know I'm of age and that I'm not stealing it. Again.. still a hassle but I would've rather purchased the paint then grabbed the other thing I needed and purchased that up front at the registers by the exit door. But nope!

So I declined the paint purchase and by the time I got all the way back up front, I said screw it and decided I didn't need the other item that much either. Way to treat your customers, Walmart... brain-dead company that I guess relies on their customers being equally brain-dead.

Have you tried 12C27 steel? I still own/use an EKA knife daily that I bought just over 30 year ago now, decent edge retention and very easy to care for.
Now you have me wanting another orange knife you! Although I don't love back locks. I like knives that I can easily open and close one-handed.swede-8-orange-2_grande[1].webp

I had seen those walmart knives on another forum but they had been out of atock for a while. Jato made me check my local walmart and they had them in stock. I started to buy online for 9.99ea and go do curbside but i had a few minutes to kill so i went in. I bought 4.

I got my Optic kit with the panels and livery designed by the blind guy. Of all the options, this is the worst. And Vanquish still doesn't have the panel kits up for sale. Another fuck up by Vanquish.

I actually don't mind the green, I think it looks okay. Reminds me of the Jeep "Gecko" color.
Reminds me of Monster Energy, Kawasaki and the meth heads that ride their clapped out KX in a Monster hat and pot leaf sandals. I think with the right livery I can salvage it, but not the stock decals.

Lmao, yeah I can see that now. It definitely could look pretty good with a nice set of decals, but I agree that the stock ones are pretty bad. They're not awful, I've seen worse, but they ain't good.

Don't know if he's on here, but this guy posted his on FB and it looks good with the shiny wheels and Tusks.

I wouldn't want my wife's 2017 Camry to be that color but on certain vehicles it looks good. I personally dig it quite a bit on the Optic. I know that doesn't matter cause it's all personal preference but maybe it'll grow on you.

I beat Vanquish to this terrible color years ago and this truck never grew on me.

Well yeah... I don't like it on that body at all. But at least for me, it looks perfectly acceptable on buggy panels. SEMA helped me to come to terms with flashy colors lol.
I love flashy colors. Have you seen my bright orange Harley and bright blue Honda Grom? Just not Monster Energy green! 🤣

I have... love that orange especially. I dunno... I don't associate that green with Monster. I don't care for the actual Monster logo itself but that green to me has been around long enough that it doesn't evoke any specific branding association. Between Mt Dew, Jeep/ Dodge, Slime, Mr. Yuck, etc... it's just a neon green to me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
