Papabash's Team BWD 'Low-Pro' Wedge Build

Re: Papabash's BWD 'Low-Pro' Wedge Build

Dave,

Great job on the rig, it turned out really nice "thumbsup". I can't wait to see it at the upcoming comp.

Currently what is the front and rear width of the rig?

Thanks Brian! Hopefully I can drive it as well as it performs!
Current front width is 7 3/4", rear is 7 7/16".

Had it's first comp yesterday, and managed to pull off a win. I was extremely pleased with how the rig handled. In fact, it did so well that I got a little over-confident in a couple of places (took out 2 gates in the video that shouldn't have been hit). The video isn't great, just my son taping my worst run of the day (wouldn't you know it). No editing, no music, just the raw vid (sorry, I'm lazy when it comes to editing). There are a couple places that show just how well this rig sticks to the rocks, with a good driver, it would be awesome! None of the still pictures my son took came out, so hopefully fallin' apart will post a couple up for me later.

Many thanks, Austin has one of those high-falootin' cameras, it does a great job.
I'm glad you're enjoying the thread. I'm confident the rig is a winner, we'll have to see about the driver though.........

Re: Papabash's BWD 'Low-Pro' Wedge Build

Well, not to brag, but the little rig won it's 2nd comp yesterday. That makes it 2 for 2, you can't ask for more than that! This truck continues to impress me with how well it handles. I was 1 of only 3 people who finished the 3rd course yesterday, it was craaaazy tough!

Re: Papabash's BWD 'Low-Pro' Wedge Build

I was one of the 3 people too, but you better be ready next comp your not getting a turkey though, so you better watch out.
