Nice. Had some fun out there today but had some issues with the beadlocks. Spun two tires off the rims. Looks like its time for some nice rims.

Was it the same 2 that gave you problems at the Boneyard that time?

Looks like it. Seems the plastic isn't holding up to the wheel speed. Luckily I forgot I got an extra set of stock dingo rims and tires from Miko so the truck is drivable just not weighted

So I was riding along last night and I released the throttle but the truck just kept on trucking. II caught her and hit the kill switch and noticed some of that dreadful magic smoke bellowing out from what I first thought was my lipo. Turns out my hitec decided it was finished. Im not sure if the truck not stopping upon release of the throttle was a direct result of the servo shorting out yet or not.

What's worse is this is the second Hitec servo in three or four months. I brought two 300oz servo's from servo city at the same time and both are shot. I luckily have a 250oz Spectrum. I just finished installing it a few min ago. Time for a test run.

I am no expert but it sounds like something is causing the problem upstream

I think my other transmitter may have done some damage to them. I need to take it apart and see what's going on in it. It was causing the servo to constantly twitch. You could tap on the transmitter wheel and the servo would respond. I'm thinking it was just causing it to work overtime. I'm no expert either though so who knows. I'm an electrician by trade so i've used that knowledge to check and troubleshoot but im by no means an electronics expert.

Anyone been to the new hobby store yet? Ed's Hobby I believe is the name of it.

Where at? That's cool I didn't realize you were an electrician. I'm in school for mechtronics. If you ever need a hand let me know I need the experience

Ok cool. We do commercial/industrial work on all the bases. I do however do side work from time to time and could use a extra set of hands. I will keep ya in mind.
