Official lowcountry trail and meet thread!!!!!

Sorry to hear about that john. Hope things work out for you. We just went to a local park. Thinking about heading up to hatefuls place in a couple of weeks. Gotta find out some camping details and hope the weather is in our favor.

Ladies? Who you calling ladies I do believe I have the hill climb trophy! All i have to say is 7 minutes!! And I should be out there.

Heading out to givahns state park tomorrow. Just gonna run until I break or battery dies. Anyone interested? Or if its close I can join you. Let me know.

If any of you charleston guys want to get together for a trail run let me know. I am free saturday after noon and sunday around 12. Name the place and time. Or if nothing I might head out to givahns ferry state park.

I figured I can post up here now, just moved back to charleston a few weeks ago. Where are the good places to go scalin?

We still alive. I got out the hobby for a while. Hope to be back at the beginning of next year. Sold all my stuff so I will be starting from scratch.

^ im in the same boat, But brother has a SCX10 haha oh well, Just going back to college so income for RC has dropped to almost $0

Hello everyone, I just moved to North Charleston a month or so ago. Just looking for some locals to meet and find some good trail spots. I don't really have any comp rigs mostly just 1.9 scalers (scx10).

JP, Me and Fritzn19 are located right near Moncks Corner/Cordesville. We usually try and mess around on the weekends at some local spots. Feel free to give me a shout if you want to get up!

Thanks Wilbywise, I'll probably take you up on your offer in the near future. I'm still unpacking all my RC stuff, kind of wish I labeled all the boxes better now, lol.
What kind of rigs do you guys run? We'll have to plan a Sunday and meet up at one of your spots. I've been to that moncks corner RC track a few times, are you located near that track?

Lol, I had no clue there was even a track close by! I am running a near stock Honcho and my buddy has a nicely modded Wraith. Shoot me a PM and we can get up sometime in the near future, there are plenty of decent spots around here.

I saw some stuff to crawl/bash on O'Hear Ave in North Chas. when i was driving around the other day, Could also find some urban stuff on the old Navy base McMillan Ave and N. Hobson Ave. some other stuff along Noisette Blvd. too

Nice video guys, looks like a good spot to run. I'm pretty sure I have a truck that could do good enough on that type of terrain. I also have a honcho but its in pieces for a rebuild.
Just curious if next Sunday (aug 4th) might be a good day for you guys to get together for some running? I have that Sunday off work and was planning on doing some onroad RC racing in orangeberg, but some scale truck running sounds fun too, can't make up my mind, lol.
BTW, how far is this carnes crossing place from north charleston?

Thought I was going to be able to get out for the weekend. However, had a drastic change of plans and will be tied up for the week/weekend. Carnes Crossroads is roughly 20ish minutes from Rivers Avenue/North Chuck. It has been by far the better of places to check out around here in the Lowcountry!
