Novak Rooster Crawler ESC Manual?

As far as I can tell they ship in flat rate boxes. What ever fits thats the cost.

And yes you should shop however works best for you.

Often FedEx is the cheapest option for me. I think that's part of the problem. In my experience USPS and UPS are cheaper options. But I haven't shipped with FedEx in a long time so maybe that changed.

I got a used rig with the now discontinued esc, the "Craweler" (states this on heatsink) version that can use a 2S Lipo. Trying to find instructions. Found this but don't know if it's safe to download from this site:

Novak Rooster Crawler ESC (55-1841-1 Ver. 2) User Manual | 2 pages

Can someone help me out with a good pdf or paper copy?

Thanks.

That link is a download for a PDF, and Adobe practically offers an update per day (much to our annoyance) to avoid malware issues. Just viewing it in the browser is safe, assuming your Adobe software is up to date.

Personally I would sell it on ebay (or forums/FB) for the $55-65 they're going for and get a Hobbywing WP1080. You can even use the extra cash to buy a 3S battery.

Thank you all for all the help. I've now discovered other problems with this rig, it was misrepresented to me by seller. Besides the esc not handling low speed, there appears to be way too much axle play in rear, but even worse, the custom aluminum axle housings he had a friend make, well the front axle esp- has mounting holes for the servo plate that aren't optimal. Seller hacked up the servo mount plate with numerous slots and holes until he got it to fit. The servo does fit, but it's a hack job, and when I see this on a rig advertised as "only run twice" and "no issues"...no I'm just going to get a Losi Nightcraler 2 NEW and take it from there. I'll be selling the SCX10 with a couple of bodies on local Craigslist. I'm going to bail out with $250 price, it's probably worth that much.
