New SSD SCX10 axle housings

RPP posted this. I see the axle panhard mount. Will a chassis panhard bar mount be included as well? If it was posted somewhere else, I apologize.

SSD is putting out some great parts.

Thanks "thumbsup"

The chassis servo/panhard mount is not included with the axle. You just need the SSD CMS kit: CHASSIS MOUNTED SERVO KIT

i assume these have alot more meat in the tubes than stock axial cases.

Yes a lot more material everywhere.

Love this, I want a set for sure, but quick question, What does the optional axle mounted servo mount look like?

It's very similar to the stock servo mounting plate. It sits on top of the 4 link mount. You will need the stock servo posts.

The link mounts are in the same place as the stock axle. So stock links or compatible are fine:

92MM TI LINKS
100MM TI LINKS
TITANIUM STEERING LINKS

No stock SCX10 axle mounts will fit on the SSD axle.

Each axle kit includes a complete axle case plus a 4 link mount, panhard mount and all hardware.

The aluminum servo mount plate is an optional part.

will i be able to do this with the new housing?

ok, thanks. ill have to sort out a new leaf mount then. i still want the new housing, it looks awesome. so much more realistic than the stock SCX.
is there plan for an offset pumpkin at all?

Hey ssd, quick question and sorry it's a little off topic, but why don't you guys make upper links or complete link kits for scx 10?

We will make the upper links in the coming weeks...

This is cool enough that I might have to order a pair and then order another truck to put them on. :ror:

Finding this thread made me buy the scale chassis I've been holding off on for what axles or housing I'd run. Found winners here.

Ok, I'm sold, definitely getting a set now just for the fact it comes with hardware alone to CMS it, pan hard it and 4 link it and I can FINALLY access the differential gears for easy maintenance for once but my main question is will beef tubes fit in the tubular portion of the axles?

Nope, the axle tubes have a much thicker wall than the stock axle. So Beef tubes will not fit without some machine work to the Beef Tubes and/or axles.

what are the chances that the JunFac skid plates will bolt up? Maybe your creative minds can come up with some.
really like the axles, Great job.

Man I like the look of those axles and want a set for my Project:Cheapbolt build. When I bust a housing I will prob. replace the stockers with these. Be a good excuse to swap to a four link up front.

Will the axle mounted servo kit be available when the cases are?
