New SSD SCX10 axle housings

My rear Axel on my jeep is a vanquish curry. It kinda ran into some issues yesterday. Since the ssd axle and the curry are both fliped I think I can swap them out with no issues. Yes no maybe. Just intell I fix my curry thoe

Issues? Such as?

Also, as long as the ring/pinion is the same orientation on both axles you should be good.

Let us know how they compare on the trail to curries. Thats my problem now lol "thumbsup"

RIng gear is on same side for both these axles, just swap in the SSD and don't worry be happy. "thumbsup"

May still want to put at least one screw in to prevent the chubs from clocking, unless they really are that tight. Nice work.

Ordered these from RPP and got the 15% Labor day weekend discount. I can't wait to get these axles under my heep! Thanks SSD for providing these awesome axles!

Really is the sale still on maybe I'll buy another set...

Just be aware - I read in an earlier post where orders over $50 shipped for free. I bumped my order up over $50 and noticed that they still charged for shipping, then saw where orders had to be $100 for free shipping.

Yeah, I got a little too used to the $50 free shipping deal. Now having to reach the $150 mark makes me practice a bit more self control but that's no fun.

Exactly. Unless I really need the parts, which is never the case, it's really hard for me to swallow $17 for shipping on a set of tires or something that may need a bit bigger box. Not upset with RPP at all just saying that summer free shipping deal was awesome and I miss it. The Labor Day sale got me though. When you can save $40 on an order, shipping doesn't bother me so much. :ror:

Well I just ordered a set of these axles and will be using vanquish scale hubs and knuckles for a wraith to do the xr steering mod. I like the idea of the clamping hub for these plastic axles. I'll also be using axial xr10 unis and vanquish scx10 lock outs for the rear.

Nothing like spending $100 on hubs and knuckles for a $25 axle. You are my kinda guy. I'd really like to see a write up on this with these new SSD axles and the hubs, knuckles, and XR10 unis you are using. They're going to look fantastic for sure and the steering should be great. I hope SSD is still working on some brass beef tubes for these.

X2 for me too....
