New Associated Enduro Crawler - Free-Mods & Upgrades

Also, there are two colors of the new Factory Team aluminum motor plate for the Enduro transmission - strangely NOT listed on the Element RC website, but are at RPP Hobbies:

Black

Blue

That post with all the vendor links should be a sticky under the picture gallery.

It's in the first post. If this thing gets long enough it will end up a sticky. That was the reason for it in the first place instead of keep posting in the new model intro thread.

Enjoy. "thumbsup"

Nice finds Durok!

I like the sounds of an Ocho.

Thanks!

I searched for Element Ocho and Enduro Ocho and Ocho Wheels, nothin'...

So - as the other Element wheels are named (Method 701 Trail Series, Trigon), I'm clueless as to whether these are just a new wheel or a new vehicle.

If I had to make an educated guess - I'd say there's a new vehicle coming, and it may be named something else entirely than "Ocho", but it will at least run those wheels.

How many other crawler companies do we know that release new plastic wheels separately from their vehicles? None...

And for that matter, they could easily release some new models and just use other colors of the existing wheel designs they have out and save some licensing/design money - all of which leads me to the final guess that a whole new vehicle is coming.

Oh, yeah - and that statement early on in this whole Element R/C excitement when someone passed on the word that the Element group was planning on releasing a whole slew of vehicles under that name... ;-)

The last two they’ve teased with tires and wheels first, it’s a safe bet they’ll do that again.

I wonder what they’ll do for tires next?

Be perfect if they released some 4.19" ones... seems as if they are sticking with General Tire as their brand(?) - so maybe another set of Grabber X3's.

If the next rig is based around that tire size, they'd have the main bases covered with the Enduro chassis!

Hi Chris, I updated my post with more vendors. Can you replace the list in the first post by the updated list? Thank you.

Mmm, I also found this on the Associated website, part number 91428. Looks to me the same as the black one from Element.

I would not mind if they came with green aluminium parts, like the motorplate and the shock parts. As the Element RC and the Enduro logo is black. white and green, that makes sence.

It's a different Associated part number ( 91547 instead of 91428 ), and states:

This part fits the following vehicles:
ProSC10
RC10B5
RC10B5M
RC10SC5M
RC10T5M
Reflex DB10
Trophy Rat

But who knows?

Might fit..."thumbsup"

I looks the same to me, shape, form and hole whise. The ones RPP Hobby listed are confirmed in the Facebook groups to be a fit.

If it fits the sc10 I know it will fit because I have one on mine [emoji6]

On my phone, where I can't make the picture bigger, they look like Methods in black... Which are available already.

The Ocho wheels say right in the post that they use self-tapping screws which would make them plastic...

Great. Nice to see options. Element RC also confirmed to me that the blue one will fit. All of them above fit. That gives a total of 4 motor plate style/color options. And if there is any aftermarket version out there, it will also fit.

I will get myself a blue one to match the shocks of the kit.

That’s why I popped this one on. I kinda wish I still had my old avid motor plate from my sc10 just because it was vented and drilled out for weight. Think it would have been a cool addition but they are no longer made.
