Pebble Pounder
In the winter of 2011 I picked up a RTR honcho.
I have beaten it countless times, killed many many Lipo cells, among many many nihms.
I've burned up dozens of 27-20T can motors. Currently on the fourth rebuild of a method pro 20T (3 seasons).
Stripped out or flat burned up five or six servo's. Currently sporting using an ACE ds1313 Savox knockoff (2 seasons now)
Amazingly the AE-2 esc is still working great, even after being covered in mud a time or two.
Killed the stock ax-3 within a few months, ran an HPI tf40 for a couple years, just recently treated myself to a new DX4C.
Ran the stocks shocks to the point where the O-rings froze and started to stick. Wore the springs to the point it was running an inch of droop, even with the dual rates. Now running some seriously old, but rebuilt, Rc10GT nitro shocks.
I have gone through a multitude of different bodies, Jeeps, Fords, even a Yoter a one point.
I've decided this Christmas eve I would gather everything up into one thread/folder for this SCX.
Now for the good stuff, Photo's. "thumbsup"
The way I had it after a couple weeks.
The next rebuild a year or so in, Warpig ford.
Summer of 2012 I tossed this jeep body on for a couple months, paint chipped away due to improper paint prep.
I still have a few photo's and such here and there that I will add as I find them. Seeing as it's the Holiday season and freezing balls outside, I put my bigger 1:1 plans on hold, and am currently in the middle of a mass rebuild. I centered this years rebuild around the new Ford raptor body. I've had and ran the quad cab f150 from new bright for a while, but it wasn't in the best shape when I found it at a scrapyard. Not too many photos of that build, but I'll do what I can to find them, any how, this is how it sits on my bench as of now.
As of this rebuild so far, Vanquish 3 link panhard setup and CMS. New SSD's and boggers, Overnunder hardened, and metal custom sliders.
Will get some nitty gritty build photo's up soon. That's all for now, I hope everyone's enjoying their Christmas and having a happy holidays.
(I made this thread more as a keepsake than anything, but any comments welcome!)
