I decided to rebuild my berg using the BJV4 chassis this will be my first bodiless chassis to run. This is pretty much how it sat before the rebuild with a T1E stage chassis.

Specs will consist of :
Super 300's
VP knuckles with 12mm bearing mod
86 Jeep inspired steering
Brood 40t motors
mamba micro esc x2
Airtronics 94780 servo
DH procomps with V4 slw's in the rear
white rovers with nova's
bigbores with mini-t springs and jeepindoug standoffs
titanium uppers and lowers
4pk radio
and a few other goodies.

Anyway I can't wait to get this rig rolling my next comp should be the Arizona Crawloff in January so I have plenty of time to get it together and gert some run time.

I got a little more done to this rig, so far its a semi roller I still need to build my upper links, steering links and get to wiring any ways heres a few more pics.

Well I got the berg running I put the old 55t motors in it for now but my 35t broods should be here this week! Also I need to get some aluminum axial c's as I turned down the ends of the tubes so I can add some caster, I also built the rest of my ti links including the steering links, and the traxxas servo was just for mock up it will be replaced with my airtronics 94780 with 423oz of torque. I also made some spring cups for the big bores with the losi mini springs.

Well heres a few pics as it is done for now atleast until the the next comp, I made some aluminum slugs and swapped a few of the steel ones out so I have 3 steel and 3 alum. in each wheel one day I plan on getting another set of v4 slw's for the front and upgrading to a knuckle weight system. So far the motors are awesome I need to get some pics while I'm out crawling but I always seem to forget my camera.

Man, you have done some nice work there!
The polished axles with fluted rear tubes is killer. Did you drillout the rear tubes as well? Lighten the gears? Like to keep secrets?:ror:
Did you get a weight on the finished assembly?

Thanks man I did the rear axle quite awhile back before people started turning the o.d. down which is what I have planned later on, I did not drill out the tubes either, I plan on drilling the gears when I tear the axles down when I get some 300m thirds and maybe some 2nd gears. I don't have a final weight either I need a scale, if I had to guess I'd say mid to upper 5lbs.
