Rockshow SS-T for truck. The rebuild.

No luck involved in that win my friend.
Good to see the fruits of all those miles and all those gates ain't it "thumbsup"

Wish I would have recognized your rig or name so I could have thanked you in person for helping me with my panels a few months back. My driving put me way too far away from where the trophies were so no wonder I didn't meet ya. Haha. Congrats on your driving! Get to head back up to where the NEQU was held for a comp in 2 weeks. I can't wait!

EDIT: I do have a update. I remembered I made a CF rear brace awhile back. Now it does not break rear CF links anymore.

Hey Karl I am interested in the carbon fiber links you are using. I tried tapping the stuff before and it just split apart. I was wondering if you just epoxied some all thread into it. Or if you have some secret method if you could let us all in. Hope to see you Marineer and that sick ass Chris too, soon.

They are glued into the rod ends and have a metal pin going through the rod end and link horizontally for extra security.

Yup, what Chris said. I drill out the rod ends so the CF rod fits tight. Then lightly sand the end of the CF rod. Mark the stab depth. Apply Losi Tire Glue and shove it in real fast. If you dont get the correct stab depth, just slice the rod end off with a hobby knife and start over. You will have to that on the other end too if you dont get the rods ends lined up with each other. Then take a very small drill bit and horizontally drill thru the rod end, and install a pin. The strenth of the pin is not super important, just as long as it is there. I only have to pin the rear links. The fronts are fine just glued.
