so far I:
put rocksliders
custom front shock spacers
HR shocks full drooped"thumbsup"
HS-65MG steering
bent in front links
more realistic tie rod
Boggers (turn perfict with no spacers)
metal washer beadlocks
aluminum knuckles
multiple lipo's and stock batteries
and i got a aluminum HR 56t spur thats not installed yet. But first i was wondering how the performance is compared to the stock one?
will i lose my power for gunning up dirt hills and those tricky high center ledge sections?
o and i got my custom Samurai body w/ everything!

question, do most or all of these mods work for the TT too or just the McRc.

like flipping the tranny, cutting or removing shocks, etc.

-removed springs
-moved batt to rear axle(wires out the back, folded over and ziptied, makes an awesome wheelie bar. less backward rollovers)
-1/2 oz weight to front servo
-cut little post off of ESC plate, move ESC/RX forward slightly for more wire slack.
- no hairpin clips on body posts, body holds snug, easy on/off

plan to
-remove foam from tires, can anyone tell me what size socket the axle nut is, my factory multi tool went MIA, cant find a socket to fit.....
-servo wires out the back. currently just creased an ziptied to prevent suspension interference
-???? 4 wheel steer?????, is there a Y harness for this?

wheels have a 4.5mm nut on them. I picked up a deep socket from loews for about $4 sears did not have any thing.

There's is a Y harness available from thetoyz.com or liquidrc.com (.99¢ Shipping). However, you will always have 4ws unless you unplug the rear servo.

For those of you who can do without the headache of manual servo reversing for 4ws on your micros. Use a futaba 3107 micro. They run backwards- Fo Sho!! The spline is a lil smaller but i just modded my saver, ez fix and well worth it!!

last 2 days have defoamed the wheels, reversed tranny and esc and battery, added 2 oz of weight to front bumper, 1/2 oz on rear axle, removed front springs, crawls so much better, dont know how people mounted battery on rear tranny, i guess i need to purchase lipo battery to fit...?

Use some servo tape. The stock battery fits between the shock mounts on the rear axle. Just make sure it doesn't hit the shocks when the suspension flexes.

I have skimmed through here a couple times and see people using washers. How are you drilling them? Also I have cut the fuel tank from a 1/24 gto and trimmed it to fit between the rear rails of my TT, the esc fist perfect with a little hot glue. I dont know if it helps but it looks better, I also mounted the battery between the front frame rails. For scale bodies I have found that E-6000 adhesive is great, it holds well but stays flexible it also peels off like rubber cement if it needs to be. I just use dabs of this stuff on my wheels we'll see how it holds up"thumbsup"

You don't need a saver on these tiny things. A good servo can handle even MiClaws.

The 59T spur from the Micro Rally/SCT fits. There is a thread on here that details what parts you need from the SCT clutch to make it work on the McRC. You will not be able to run a gear cover, but it doesn't do anything anyway.

I thought the biggest spur you can put on the Crawler/Trekker is 56t. Without a new motor plate anyway.

Yeah, the servo saver is useless unless you are using the cheap stock servo.

No, you don't need a new motor plate. You should slip in a 9T pinion though.

I'm using 56/11 now, you think I should move up or down on the pinion? Its got plenty of power with the 90 turn motor but it looses traction too soon.

The fewer teeth on the pinion, the more torque you get. I use a 9/56 combo right now, so I really don't know what fits the 59T.

Thanks Boss, I went back to 10 teeth and its working the way I want it too.

Now I just need to find some decent shocks. The units that came with my Trekker are crap.
