Michigan Roll Call

rcracer, let me know if your going out to davisburg sunday, i would like to go. thanks gary."thumbsup"

will do, i'll call ya either way. If I go it will be around 2-3ish, supposed to be isolated storms so I'm playing it by ear.

ok,sounds good all i have is my 2.2 still waiting on my servo to get fixed for my super. i might bring the scaler too.;-)

hey, i just saw this thread.
i live in Michigan too. Im interested in joining any crawling events. so far i only have a scaler, waiting for the axial scorpion.
btw, this truck's axles have not been locked, does the scale class really require locked axles?

my scaler is not finished yet. i have to make body panels and the like.

Nothing requires locked axles, but they really help. Also, does anyone think I should get a Postal Jeep for 400 dollars? I'm going to use it for mild offroading and mostly just driving around...in 3 years. Until then, it'll sit in a driveway extension.

remember...postal jeeps are 2wd and right-hand driver and almost all of them run like crap

I would skip on it.

firestorm450 feel free to join us anytime, we are getting together today at davisburg mill pond park around 2-3. come out and have some fun. we are hoping that it dosen't rain.;-)

I knew most of that...I was hoping to make it like 4 wheeler magazine's DJ-5 cheap jeep project.

with such a short wheelbase it would be a scary ride, I have seen other articles converting a mail jeep but your talking lots of hours and tools. your building a suspension remember so you have to be right on.

is there a kit available?

not looking too promising, supposed to rain all day but we'll see

That place is truck breakingly fun. Where were you two? I broke a dogbone, a spun a hex, nearly lost a wheel after it went into the stream, and got lost of rock rash on the new body.

No one can miss the dream criuse, we'll be more in this than the jeep.

And if you see the jeep, hummer, or the charger, watch out because I might be driving it.:twisted::twisted:

Firestorm450, sweet looking rig there"thumbsup" Is that a kit or home built. Man if it's home built it is amazing. WK axles right? Might have to get some of those.
