I was able to pick up a Sucker Punch from a guy in my local club who was hoarding them. Anyways since joining Team 5th Dimension I jumped at the chance to get Sucker Punched!"thumbsup"

Not a lot has changed from my last chassis but since I didn't do a build thread for it here's the low down!

5th Dimension Sucker Punch chassis
AR60's axles
Axial over under dive gears
Locked up FI spools
Dlux sporty trusses
Dlux knuckles and weights
VP chubs
Dlux links
Axial Icon shocks
Axial uni's
Dlux beadlocks
Voodoo's Gold front/silver rear
CI foams 6" narrow front with soft outer 5.5" rear with med outer

NCD Transmission & Skid (shoe horned in there!"thumbsup")
R2 gears
Modified Wb8 drive shafts

BR mini
Team Brood Conflux 30T with all the goodies!"thumbsup"
Hitec 7950
Castle Bec
Futaba 2106 GF
Futaba 4PX

I have a new body coming for it but until then I will reuse the oldie but a goodie! Here's a few pics to see how it sits!

So had the first Comp with it on the weekend with no test runs at all and managed to pull a 2nd place finish out 10 Guys!"thumbsup" Have to say that it didn't really seem to miss a beat and the course were toughest all year for sporty! I think I have some minor shock tuning and I think she'll be where I want here! The truck just seems to flat out do work for me!"thumbsup"

Very happy with the way things went! Looking forward seeing what else I can get this thing to do! Also might be a video or 2 more kicking around and some photos maybe!

Very close build to mine, looks good and I'm glad its working for you."thumbsup"

Yes its very close build to yours! Yours works great so why wouldn't I try and copy it closely except I think I snuck in a couple improvements! lol

Way to be Randy! Keep up the great driving...
Get that Sucker dialed in!

Thanks Troy! Not far off like I said! Was a tough day on the broken up boulders there. We should of had the sporty's running the pro courses and the Pro's running the sporty's but great learning experience and helps improve driving skills!"thumbsup"

did you keep the stock widht of you ar60 axle???so you have a nice rigs and you seem to have a great crawler course you are Lucky!!!!countinue your build always fun for me to Watch shafty build.

Just watched the videos, great driving. Nice crawling location.

Thanks Matt. "thumbsup" It's a great place to crawl but you better make sure you rig is up to the task. Very easy to break parts here or even lose your rig down a hole!

Yes they are still stock width. I haven't found a draw back to that yet and it just seems to be a better setup for crawling but it's all personal preference!
Thanks I've put alot thought and effort into building my rigs now if only I could drive them that good! Living on the coast gives us a few options for crawling for sure. I'll definitely keep this thread updated with changes and how it's doing!

Very good. Im in the middle of spiking my punch with some new flavor myself. Cant wait to come party with you crazy canadians soon.

It is so incredible how far the OG ax10 scorpion has come. The sky is the limit on setups, chassis options, material options, weight options, you name it there's an option for it!

If Houston had mountains I'd still have my 2.2 ax10 based shafty and my 2.2 pro rig!

Looking forward to see what you come up with on your sucker punch build! It's going to be great to have you guys come up to our neck of the woods! I think your going to have a blast!"thumbsup"

The hard part now is deciding which parts to put together to make a winning combo that works for you! Definitely very lucky to live on the coast where the mountains provide a ton of crawling options!

Had another comp on the weekend and squeezed out the win! Was a hot day and the rocks were really grippy! As always good to get out with the crawler fam and enjoy the day! Here's some videos from the comp! Enjoy!

Had another comp on the weekend and managed to pull a 2nd this time around. Couple stupid mistakes but hey it happens. Truck is still performing well and every little adjustment I make seems increase its ability! One more comp then its Worlds for me and lets see how see does there!

So back home from world's and managed to place 6th out of 41 drivers. Almost made the top 5. Very happy with that result! Truck did work all day and I managed to kept it wheels down! If there are pics or video I'll get it posted up but don't think anyone got me on course!

Congrats Randy well deserved finish, you definitely earned it.
Thanks Matt! "thumbsup" was great to me you and your crew! Looking forward to the next one with you guys!

Nice driving Randy
Great result in Super's also

Thanks Tom! "thumbsup" my sporty did some good work that day! Funny thing about the super is it wasn't even mine. I borrowed Bob's for the event as mine smoked a motor right before I was leaving for world's! Thanks Bob!
