Losi 1/10th Roller

Motor = Tekin 55T or 17.5 Brushless
ESC = Tekin Fx-r or Losi Xceleron
Servo = Hitec HS7955TG, and either 225 or 645 for Dig
Radio Gear = Old Skool Futaba 3PDF, R153 Receiver, Caslte Bec, Great Planes 3s 1500 mah Li-po

Seems odd, My LHS has had four of them on pre-order since news of the release was posted. Mine is #2 on their list.

Hey Rich, as you probably know, worm gears require lubrication more so than standard bevel gears. Have you guys incorporated an easy access to the worm gear for quick lubrication? :idea: I'm thinking that a small hole in the upper part of the casing would be a great way of lubing the gears without having to open up the whole axle. A small set screw or cap screw could seal the hole during normal operation. Just a suggestion.

Motor = Crawlmaster (if it fits, Rich was going to check to see if the outrunner will fit))
ESC = Mamba Max & CCBEC
Servo's = Some cheapy 250oz steering servo (for now), not sure on the dig servo yet... have to see what I can get to fit
Radio Gear = DX3R TX and RX

Might not be a bad mod to start out with, if it has sealed bearings in the axles it would be easy to add some gear lube to the pumpkin. If the gears are metal they can always be coated for lubrication, Performance Coatings in Seattle does this for engine and tranny internals.

Oh and what wheels are going to work on this rig? Are they their own thing or will ax10 wheels work? I really dig my bling bling vanquish wheels... 8)8)"thumbsup""thumbsup"

That was the plan, we didn't want you guys to have to buy funky offset wheels, but you should still buy our new kit wheels ;) :-P

This was back quite a few pages.

So it looks like the DX3R is the way to go for radio. Anyone know anywhere that has a better price than $299.99 shipped? That is the best price I have found so far.

the DX3R is well worth it ou will not be disapointed with it at all. It is an amzingly versitile radio. I use it for all of my on road, off road, and craler RC's
