Posting up as I'm in the Littleton area and would like to find some guys interested in getting together for some trail running or rock crawling. Post up, PM or shot me a message on my email.

I haven’t run my truck in a few months for lack of anyone/anywhere to keep me interested. It would be cool to get a few folks together to play around!!

BTW, I’m in highlands ranch.

Yeah Ive been building but havnt gone out to play much.

Last time I went to Daniels park they had put up low wood fences to keep people from walking out on the cliff area where the cool crawl spots are. There were no signs posted so I just crossed the fence anyway. It looks like a bunch of dumbshits go out there and party and leave trash and bottles everywhere so thats probably why the new fence. People like that ruin it for everyone else.

Hi all-

I've been dusting off my bomber and getting it ready to go, been patiently waiting for some nice weather! Looks like this weekend will finally cooperate so I'm planning on getting out for a little bit. I'm down in Parker and plan on staying in the area this time. Thought I'd go and check out the area around Baldwin Gulch Trail - 20 mile rd and Pine Ln area. Unless someone has a better spot I should go check out?

On another note, I'm looking at adding another vehicle, I'm about 90% set on a TRX4 chassis kit, as I want to build it. Anyone have any input on this?

Thanks,

Aaron

I've been chomping at the bit to get out but every time the weather has been nice enough I've had family commitments. This weekend doesn't look like it'll be any different but I might be able to get out Sunday.

There's a new HobbyTown in Littleton off of Broadway that has a crawler course already built. Checked it out today and it looks like fun.

I've built 2 TRX4 and 1 TRX4 Sport kits. I've enjoyed all 3 of them and would recommend them. Unless you REALLY want the sport body with accessories I'd recommend the full TRX4 kit. I feel like getting all the motor, esc, servos, radio, locking diffs and 2 speed tranny are worth the extra $90. All you need is the body

100% agree with this.

Thanks guys! I have had the same problem trying to get out, when I have had some free time, mother nature has not cooperated! I will have to check out the new HobbyTown when I get over that way.

Chassis kit is what I'm leaning towards, which is what you guys are suggesting, as I really want to build it. Probably get that going in the next week or two. Trying to figure out what body I want to go with, but I have a little time before I'll need that.

Let me know if anyone is ever going out for a hike/crawl. I've only done solo trips, but if you don't mind putting up with a newbie with a bomber, I'll tag along.
