krazykrawler's RC4WD Scaler Build-off entry..."Redneck mud slinger"

I think i will keep the original plastic bumpers,but for the front i will build a large diameter tubing push bar.On a real truck its mainly for looks but for this one it will actually see some steep descents and protect the plastic one from breaking in that little opening right at the bottom.I got some updated pics i need to post.I will have to later since im working.But they show the nerf style steps along the bottom edge of the door.You can see a glimpse of them in the flex shot,but now they are all painted up.They were made from 5/16 brake line and are quite scale to the real ones.

OK, We are coming to the end folks and its been one hell of a contest.
I will be contacting all of the builders soon and then I will start a voting thread and add it to this page.


Again, the end the contest on Dec. 12 at 12:00 Mountain time.
Officially anyone who is building must post no later than 12:00 mountain time.
Any posts past 12:00 MT on those threads by the builder in lew of the build will fault in disqualification.

You know what, you can build the badest rig and not everyone will like it. I just want to play with it, but I don't want to scratch it yet :mrgreen:..... But I have to tell yea, its been through 2 rolls so far :mrgreen:

Im glad youre running it.For some reason i always make shelf queens.I think im just lazy when it comes time to clean up.LOL ,,,BTW,dont let Richard play with it.He wont give it back...Jus kiddin Hillbilly

Well,i made a few changes to the truck since the build-off.First i put a plain set of Axial spoke rims under it.The Junfac's just wouldnt hold the bead.Next i built a roof rack,roll bar,spare tire holder combo and lastly i installed a Tractor Supply tool box.Letme know how it looks
