This is my choice for the buildoff. This would be considered a class 1 or just a normal southern mud truck that you would see going down the road..more to come.Im going out to the shop now..hehe

Got a piece of 1/2 x 1/2 tubing bent up for the frame rails. The original idea was to make my own rails

.But then i thought about my OG Bruiser from the mid-80s.I picked this up from a non-rc guy one day when i was out working

.I know what youre thinking...."the wheelbase doesnt line up"....well,i plan on cutting it in half and extending it 4 inches.I know the Bruiser guys hate to hear that, but it wasnt a complete Bruiser so i see no problem.More to come

I hope you followed the correct procedures for discharging the airbags power on that scale interior. Hate to see someone get hurt! :lmao: seriously that truck is one b e a u t I f u l f150. Great start

Got the frame painted and put back together, only this time i used all 3mm button head hardware. Also,im using RC4WD HD R2 trans(RC4WD part #1

As soon as it was together i measured for the cut.I am going to add some extra frame rail right in the middle

Once its cut theres no going back

and now we have the frame in two pieces.

Worked on the frame extensions today and here is where im at .I took the 1/2 x 1/2 square tube and cut it down the middle to make two frame rails. Then i blew it all apart and sandblasted it for the last time, then brazed it all back together.Ill get it back in paint soon.

.I installed some Junfac wheel extensions 2.2" Wheel widner (4) (Offset: +19mm) [J51033] : JunFac.com and got the width i was looking for. These adapters are the 19mm ones and really pushed the wheels out.Heres a shot of one side installed to show the difference
