Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Also keep in mind that when using a front axle assembly in the rear, your wheelbase will be shorter than when using the same links and a rear axle. At least one Revo will need to be swapped out for a Jato.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Since I have no affiliations with chaotic, they might be my eye to eye lenghths but not my bend specs by any means...

There are other things to consider with links like axle clocking as well. I assume they are close. If they are short on wheelbase a jato end can be cut to fit to make it right.

A simple tube cutter can be used to make them the length you need.

Appreciate the reply,,,when I emailed them and asked and got that they were built to you exact specs,,,I assumed you partnered up to have them make the link. Anyway,,,thanks for the reply.

Any word on when the new panel will be shipped out?

Thanks

Mike

i am working on something with a "Very Productive" company here on a few things!

This was your response to a question asked about having links made. Is this still in the works? I assumed you were referring to chaotic but apparently not.

I would guess it's VP since they are one of his numerous sponsors and also offer Ti links. Plus with all the "chassis drama" with CC, seems like it's best for him to deal with other vendors.

Just my 2¢

Very cool, thats what I get for assuming

I ordered the Chaotic links thinking they worked with you to design a bolt on link kit. I sure hope they work out. Otherwise I'll be bugging you until the Very Productive links are released 8)

All the secret agent code words are hard to keep up with

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

I can't find any silver mini-t springs for the front, only the rear packs at my lhs. Any idea what's closest to the spring rate out of the front pack, pink, orange or red?

Did find the MRC silver for the rear though.

Thanks :p

i believe the mini t and mrc silver rates are the same just different lenghths....4xford will have the info on this.

if they are the mrc silvers all around would work fine and also give a little more adjustmaent preload options"thumbsup"

Oh. hrm. I thought the reason for the mini-t front was the shorter length more than the actual spring rate.

I guess I could do the mrc's in front too, but I have a crap ton of the front mini t's laying around. I guess I'll wait to see if 4xford or anyone else knows and if not I'll just grab another set of mrc.

Thanks "thumbsup"

Was thinking the Mrc are slightly stronger then the mini T.

But test the Mini-T and place some spacers under the spring cup. so you have the options for preloads:

Great idea for preload adjustment, but bad if you don't want external limiters.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

I don't trust that chart.

The springs on the rear of the car are MRC softs, silver in color.

The springs on the front of the car are Mini-t rears, soft, silver in color.

The rears are slightly stiffer and longer than the fronts.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

hrm ok so what's the concensus then? MRC silvers on the fronts, or mini-t silver (rears) for the front?

I mean granted I'll tweak, modify and find what works best for my truck, but I figured I'd start where you guy's are then tune from there.
