Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

alright....good news!

i got a few packs through these and there is to me no real noticable difference in drag brake. i have my tekin fxr's set the same as i always have with 60% in the front and 70% in the rear.

the torque is slightly different, as we suspected, but not a huge decrease at all. i dropped down from a 14 tooth pinion front and rear to a 13 tooth and the truck will drive straight through hard binds ( to where the tire looks as if it would rip) and really heavy dig climbs. there is still farther gearing that could be done for a heavier truck.

the low end is really smooth, and the motors are definately snappy, which is not a bad thing. you can stab the throttle a they get up and go!

the hay bail jump was no problem:twisted:

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Sweet, glad you liked em!

Of course now, I gotta make more for everyone who wants a set!

New website is gonna go live next week, and I will hopefully by then have info on some of the mods done (timing rings, etc), as I have requests for quotes to have stuff made. Screws are proving to be the biggest challenge....nobody makes titanium or aluminum 2.5mm screws that I can find. Lots of chinese companies claim they will, but I am leery about dealing with them on stuff, since they always require prepayment.

Have you tried fastener express I just got all kinds of aluminum screws from them and they were fast.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Yup, used them for years... They said they are gonna make one in the next 6 months or so..

So reward for who can find a reliable source for 2.5mm aluminum and/or titanium screws.

I have my parts rep looking for M3 in either and they had zero luck. He told me he could find anything too.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

M3 is easy... Lunsford makesx m3 titantium , as does racers edge among others. Fastener express along with numerous others do aluminum...

M2.5 is a very uncommon size.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

I don't think a screw that small would have any measurable weight savings if made from aluminum or Ti.

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Re: Krawl's "SECRET AGENT"

Looks great, how far out from the chassis are the shocks spaced front and rear?
