Ittybitty's BERG

The shocks are not limited internally...I do have a small limiter externally on the rear shocks though.

I obviously forgot to check the measurement on the lower links...they are right at 126mm eye to eye with Revo rod ends best I can measure...sorry for the delay on that!

I made a cosmetic change today...ready for TWO comps this weekend in TWO different states "thumbsup"

I have the blue knuckles to go with them, but I forgot that I had the black ones bored out to accept 12mm bearings...looks like Doug gets some more business!

Looks good man! Wish I did not have to work this weekend so I could ride with you to TN. Good luck!"thumbsup"

Well we got a huge order of tires in today at East Coast RC and since that meant we finally have some Red Dot Khaos tires I just had to narrow some up and throw them on my rig "thumbsup" I can't wait to get these on the rocks...I'll do some testing here at the house this week and see what I want to do for a foam setup. Currently I have Medium/Mediums in the "passenger" side wheel and Firm/Soft w/ Medium outer ring on the "driver" side. I like the feel of the driver side but we'll see...

I also installed some JeepinDoug spring cups while I was working on it.

I also took some time and removed some material from the back of the VP 8* knuckle weights so that I could get the most steering out of this setup. It made quite a bit of difference...shoulda done it much sooner!

Looking like a winner "thumbsup" have to look into a set of these fancy tires for my rig..... Keep up the great work!

Rob

Thanks for the compliments...these tires are going fast already

How much did you take out of the center? If they work out, I might send you my khaos reds to narrow."thumbsup"

I removed around .35" from them. They measure just a hair under 2" from sidewall to sidewall mounted on a 1" wheel.

those look awesome man. cant wait to hear your thoughts on them. last night i narrowed up an old worn out set of khaos i had laying around but didnt get a chance to run them due to the rain... i love the narrow tire tho! thanks for the idea"thumbsup"

My first impressions are great, but they don't really mean much since they're from my small rock pile in the back yard. It has some VERY high traction rock on it. I'll get the rig on some real rocks this weekend and let you know what I think after that. It'll be good to run the same lines I know the skinny Sedonas on the front made easy work of.

I did decide to go with the Firm inner / Soft outer with a Medium outer tuning ring in these. The Medium/Medium was too much and I didn't want to cut them down because they were the foams out of my full width Blocks that I still have and use on occasion.

Seen these tires on some much better rock than his rock pile at home. I also had a chance to put them on my rig today and was very impressed. Again I like the narrowed profile much better than the standard width. I am sure Ryan will follow up with a much better right up on them. Look forward to seening what he has to say on them."thumbsup"

How about an update? I know this rig has been winning quite a bit here lately. SOooo, none of this hush hush stuff. Spill it. Whats new?"thumbsup"

From what I just saw on FB he has been building a new "crawler""thumbsup"

Izums gonna have a bebe ? Awwww.

Yes he won the ETRC comp the other day. Aside from him driving well, those tall block tires were doing great on those rocks.

And he was the only one that managed not to wigg out on at least one course

Yep there's a new "crawler" on the way...wonder if it'll work better with knuckle weights or internal weights? :lmao:

This rig has been working VERY well for me lately. The only changes I've been making are with different tire and foam setups. I've swapped from what I thought was my favorite setup with the skinny sedonas up front and the white dot blocks out back to my narrowed red dot blocks on all 4 corners.

These tires really do work well, and with the addition of the new CLOSED CELL foams they work even better. I'm still working on which foam combo I like the most, but I am currently running the narrow inners on 1" wheels with medium outers.

I mounted up a set of narrowed red dot khaos tires today with the new inners and a soft outer with medium outer tuning ring. I just can't convince myself that I like the khaos tires over my blocks, but I think I'll give them a try this weekend at our SC comp.
