Interest in Rally?

I'm out too...I'll be in Berthoud tomorrow. I can't wait for this Holiday Season to be over, and have everything go back to normal

Bummer. Glad to hear we have another driver to mix up with though. "thumbsup"

Yep, just not enough time in a day.

Jax is pretty jazzed, but now I have to get his little brother one  should have just bought two.

Hello, my name is Shon and I am an R/C-oholic.........

OK just bought my 5 year old, Riley, a MTDT to replace his Blitz. Made the mistake of telling Jax I got him one so then Riley had to put on the sad face. Dad is a push over I guess.:ror: Plus Tower has a good deal with free shipping and discount codes. Got his for $159 shipped. It will get the Havoc 3cell with an Epic 13.5t out of his Blitz. One more for the mini class."thumbsup"

Nice and bummer all at the same time! Wish you guys could make it.

Went down to HOON 470 AND...

Its on!

No standing water at all, no snow on the track either, its a little "tacky", but will only get better as the day goes on.

The gravel fairy Stan dropped off 4 bags of gravel at the track, I got them spread out through some of the soft spots. Thanks Stan that was awesome of you!

Then I got three bags of sand dumped in some other areas of the track.

We could use some more sand/gravel if anyone wants to bring some down.

Otherwise 10am at HOON 470. See you guys there."thumbsup"

On the plus side, Hobby Clown had two pairs of the HPI X-Pattern tires!! I'm going downstairs to grab a beer and glue them on now, so I can at least bring this up and have fun on the street for a bit "thumbsup"

How do I glue these on? Just regular CA?

I use IC 2000, its just a rubberized CA glue.

I'll try to find some of that since I'm out of CA anyway.

Before I go any further though, I want to make sure these wheels are acceptable for road events. I believe most events will be dirt, and for those I'll use the stock wheels and dirt tires, but if there are road course events, are these Ok? Again, I mostly just want street tires so I don't tear up the off-road tires while chasing Chris down at lunch.

Looks ok to me. We didn't really talk about wheels, though I would hate to see dish wheels out there. Should be a great tarmac tire for you.

Awesome Van!

What do we use that for?

Designating a Tarmac track?
Yup, we were talking about using it to lay out our lunchtime tarmac track. Chasing down tennis ball halves sucks. :ror:
Nice find Juan, pretty cheap too.

Great day guys! Thanks for everyone coming out and playing. I am really stoked to get 2nd in the Trophy Truck class and the rally car is working great. Some more drive time and I might be able to scare Ty a little bit. :ror:

Best track conditions ever and really enjoyed hanging out with everyone. I'll see how my pics turned out. Can't wait to see Rodney's....."thumbsup"
