Two questions...

1) Where did this happen?

2) When is this happening again?

I will be back in town the 19th and would like to come check out this action!!

Your welcome to come by the house Robb and check out the mini and the rally. It's a blast! Even got the boys their own MiniDT's so they could come down and have some fun."thumbsup"

I talked to the guy at Hobby Clown and asked if their track was still open. He said that they are not running on it, or maintaining it throughout the winter, but to go out on it and have fun anyway.

I might try to swing by there this weekend with the truck.

Take some photos!

I'll definitely grab some pictures.

I was doing some rewiring on the Mercedes the other night, and came across this...coming from the ESC to another connector then to the motor. I think a full tear down, and rebuild of this car might be needed.

What did you do? Is that soldered together?

That's how it came to me. I cut the heatshrink off and found it that way. I'm not really sure "soldered" is the correct term. I cut everything back, soldered on bullet connectors and eliminated the other inline connectors. It's about 2 inches shorter now, and a straight run to the motor. I feel a bit better about how it's done now.

Looks like a smoke and light show waiting for an opportunity ;)

1st of the tb-01 kits was waiting for me after work today...built as much of it as I could until the hong kong stuff gets here. The grease I put in the rear diff isn't thick enough, guess I'll be looking for something thicker.

Is Tower still the best deal on the MTDT??

Hey Stan Tower has a $20 off promo code for orders over $149.99, 010C1 . And ground shipping is $9.99 I believe. I ordered the boys trucks on the 30th and there being delivered today.

Had a blast during lunch with Grizz...just a figure 8 with the ends on pavement, and dirt in the center but what a kick "thumbsup"

I'm going to bring in some tools to see if the dirt sections can be turned into something useable. It would be fun to have a half dirt, half pavement course to practice on.

As long as you are gentle with it. Might make a decent Dakar vehicle.
