Interest in Rally?

Ty, Grizz, Rodney,

Here is the excel sheet that I put together. It has the scenarios that we talked about.

As you can see there is still a tie for 3rd even with the tie breaker involve. So I just split the points for 3rd and 4th.

I also put in a column for Rodney idea about have the races with more people be worth more points. I think if the incremental increase is 10 points then that will keep every thing close.

Again, each win in the WINNERS bracket is worth 100 points and each win in the LOSERS bracket is 50 points. All loses are ZERO points.

All the basic info is from the bracket app and seems to be a sustainable system.

What are you thoughts?

So in the pacement section after 5th place every one gets 20 or 30(?) right? I still like that. I think everything else seems to work out as well. Except I don't like Rodney's method, I think a win regardless should be worth the same amount of points at every event. That way no one has the option to pick which events they go too based on attendance of that event.

Thank you for doing that Gary."thumbsup"

hey guys ive searched elsewhere, seen videos on youtube, but do any of you have any experience with the kyosho fazer ep rally? i would love to hear your feedback thanks

I posted my scenario results in the Rally Group. My method used the bracket buddy to determine finishing position for the day but not for series points. Have a look at that as well. Thanks for doing that work Gary.

Sorry, I don't have any experience with the Fazer.

I don't have any personal experience either, but I have read a lot of the Australians use the Fazer...I think.
From what I understand it has similar construction to a TB01 (which is a really solid car), but Kyosho says it is a introductory car like a Tamiya TT01.
My only concern would be parts support. I have contemplated getting one, but its a few rigs down on the list.

After seeing how you worked the points system Griz I really like that system. Plus you said WRC.:ror:

Getting wired up and tweaking in the esc with the castle link, getting used to my traded for spektrum pistol radio. More stuff coming from ebay, hobbyking and tower. Almost got the mtdt...I'll wait another week or so and let the old lady forget about all the $$ spent the last couple of weeks.

Boys have birthdays coming, maybe I can use the bill me later for 3 of those Hpi mtdt;-)

it was up to 81 dollars last i saw it

:shock::shock::shock:

Those usually go all day for 60.00. Did you bid it up early? That is probably why its so expensive now.

So hard not to just get the stuff and ask for forgivness later:ror:

That's what I did with my boy's mini's."thumbsup"

Yup!! It's very tempting. I'm trying to get one running with all the goods before I add another rig or 3 to the arsenal. At least the mtdt's would be rtr...except for 2.4 radios and some batteries.

Ty... yes I did...wont next time...its ok ill give dave the tl-01 and just drive the df..no worries...couldn't afford the tb-01 anyways:)

Almost finished with the Tommi Evo:

Still have some mechanical work to do, but I will probably be getting a beater body for when I come race with everyone since I don't really want this one beat to crap. Thinking 3300kv on 2s through a sidewinder for motivation.

I was looking at the TB's and found a great deal on a TB02, but what really did they change from the TB01s?

Tb02 has similar bath tub chassis to the Tb01 but uses the EVOIII gear cases, ball diffs, etc. and uses the TA04 suspension components (shock towers, arms etc.) Car has a ton of adjustment options, definately aimed at the touring car crowd. No dirt cover/shield.
