hosted a car show yesterday (pics)

every year me and audrey host a car show, had help from the car club this year. everything went really well. we had hired a model as well, but her father had a heart attack and couldnt make it. we also had the hooters girls come out, but they sent some high school looking girls. o well. had live dj and some great cars this year. broke our all time record by 2 cars. i always front all the cash for the show so i was nervous about it going well to be able to recoup the money back. it went great this year. heres some pics.

240 had a turbo supra motor in it, puting down 637hp at the wheels, stang won second

yellow c5 was procharged, red was on the bottle with motor work.

toms truck had some sweet ghost flames, the the first gen was just sick.

tuckin 26s

70 1/2 camaro. won second in fbody. car was an insanely nice driver.

rotissery resto goat, that car was sick. nearly won best in show. lost by 1 vote.

this amx was very original. imaculent condition

55 won best in show

a few of the bikes. hidden by the guy in white, was a turbo busa on 7 lbs, full air brush paint. also in the forground (yellow) was one of those 3 wheeled can am bikes(two up front)

new SRT challenger

C6 Z06 on juice. not sure what else was done.

couple of mud boggers, there was a rail there too. sounded niiiice.

Audrey won first in Fbody class, she had some TOUGH compitition.

was a great show. im just glad to be out of that heat.

They straighten out once ya get that back up to driving height. Like I posted above, them were my favorite ones. The ones I thinka re the dumbest are the guys who drive there stock vehicles there and think there show becuase they cost 30K.. Nothing you couldnt walk to a car dealership and see. Also dont like the import shit. Different strokes for different folks though. If everyone liked the same thing, itd be a pretty boring world.

You are right, I must be a dumbass because I don't understand why you would do that to a truck.

Now it is completely useless as far as I am concerned.

It eliminates MOST of the capability that I would want in a truck.
You can't haul class 5 in it.
The tire sidewall is very short, bet that rides nice...
My buddy had 20's on his monte carlo, it rode like hell till a spinner came off and it lost a wheel.
It would get stuck on the way to my house.
Yeah you can make it handle ok, but it will never handle like a car.
I could list a bunch more.

But the main reason I don't understand it is because all that money would have made one sick car that would actually be capable of doing something more then just looking pretty.

I have a right to my own opinion, do I deserve to be called a dumbass for it?

The thing that borrows me about many shows these days, as shown in these pics, is that everyone "opens" everything. Sure, for judging, open your hood, doors, and whatever..............but for viewing, I like to see the vehicle as a whole, as I would see it on the street. Example, the Challenger, GREAT looking car, but you can't even tell what it looks like there because everything that can be opened is open. Do we really need to see what the inside of the trunk looks like?
