you know the feeling how one hobby takes over the other....well i sterted out back in 1991 with a kyosho burns, that then got traded in for a turbo burns...which got traded in for one of the first Inferno's, with a ron paris OS .21 engine....which got traded for a paintball gear....which busted my knee's...so got traded in for an airgun around 1995.....and then that collection grew and grew.....now 15 years later it has come full circle and im now back into rc cars and one helicopter.....
it started last year with a brushless e-revo, i have been nitro guy before but back then brushless had not made it to the RC scene to my knowledge...but now with brusless cars reaching 90 mph....i thought it was time to give it ago....and one car led to another....the e-revo is fun and all....but i wanted a buggy....and so i got a hpi vorza....then my neighbor showed interest in onroad cars so i thought it would be fun for us two to race on our little culdesack street .... so i got the hpi sprint 2 flux....and for the fun of it i won a traxxas bandit on ebay....which turned out too slow...so it got modded with an ezrun 6000kv system (should have gone with 4000kv but ohh well) some gearing later and its a fast buggy that can keep up with the rest of the fleet...it is quite fun...and its got a few mods in its future, but for now it will do...my favorite at the moment is the vorza...it is one cool buggy, closely followed by the sprint 2 .....the sprint is super fun to chase cars with up and down the street, and do some drifting
the losi mini crawler was bought after i a son 10 months ago...to have something to drive around indoors that wasnt fast but could overcome all his toys and stuff, and this little crawler fit the bill
recently a micro losi truck entered the fleet...quite fun....kid loves to look at it driving around
