GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread

Hi there Losikid, flashing kit arrived in the UK and physical mod completed succesfully, Thank you. However, I'm probably being daft; but whenever I click the link to the latest firmware, I get a webpage with a load of gobbledegook on it instead of a file to download onto the desktop. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance...

You have to right click and download the file to your computer then once downloaded open that file using ST Visual Programmer. If you left click the link you will see the programming code.

Cheers,
Wade

alright, i just ordered and received my hack kit this week. installed and got it working. but now i need some help assigning the dual rate to run my rc4wd snow plow. i would like to have the plow be run in 3 positions at least, highest being for clearance when driving, middle being to lighten load when pushing to skim, and the lowest being to scrape or rest on level ground. i cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this. i thought i did but i had to restart to adjust the endpoints to not burn up servo and i messed it up in the process. anyone able to help out with this? I can't see it being too difficult but the menu system and abbreviations is a steep leaning curve for me. thank you!

Hi I'm just getting back into rc after about a year break and cannot for the life of me remeber how to adjust settings on your hacked rx could you please link the instruction manual

Need some help here. Attempts to intall the hack on my GT3C have failed. I followed instructions. Loaded gt3b-0.6.1.s19 and to program then current tab. Put lipo in and turned on. From there it never said CAL or allowed me to set voltage. Now the menu to all weird and when I turn it on it turns on to Model No 0 M50%. I've repeated the procedure several times and nothing seems to change.

You're on Model 50.

Power up, press enter, scroll to model, press enter, scroll to No 0 M00%, press enter, press back/end afew times. Now you're back to model 0

Now to calibrate start watching here.

Quick repeat of the question...does the GT3B or GT3C output the 8 channels on ppm? For potential use with an LRS module? Thanks!

Just finished the hack on a Turnigy GTX3, did not realize how much of a clone it was until I opened up and the boards are still labeled FLYSKY. Is there a receiver out there that will accept more the 6.5 for this radio? I'm getting really tired of dual BEC and bypassing the receiver to run the steering servo at 7.2
