GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread

Nice work. Just had a quick look. Found this.

Thanks...I'll fix it once I actually start selling them"thumbsup"

1st order down, already found a bug...I want to see a few more orders though and see if it keeps happening. As I can't simulate it with a test order.

Also, since I haven't figured out how to migrate over back in stock notification emails (ie the waiting list). I'll post here. There's currently 4 GT3C's in stock. 3 Grey ones and a Silver one. I'm going to try and get 2-5 modded every week and keep them in stock now that I have a enter button fix.

I'll get rx's in stock soon.

In my excitement to place my order I forgot to add the receiver. Any chance to add one without additional shipping fees?

Kinda hard to forget when they were out of stock anyways.

I won't have receivers for a couple weeks...or I should say till my next big flysky order from china, might be longer than a couple weeks.

Radios come with a 3ch rx. If you need more or a 6ch rx, they're available at hobbypartz or ebay. And in a lot of the chinese rc part stores, but shipping takes forever.

Ok. Perfect. Thank you for the quick response! Looking forward to getting the transmitter. Take care.

You will love it. I have an Airtronics Tx that is fantastic, but bang for the buck you can't go wrong with a hacked gt3c as an inexpensive alternative. And I like to tinker, so it adds more of a fun factor for me.

Cheers,
Wade

You shouldn't have to be powering your radio on to program it. Are you using one of my kits?

No, it wasn't one of your kits someone gave me a new programming card. Also, I think i broke it instead of desoldering. Do I need a new card and Is the GT3B bricked?
I like the new Website.

Austin, did you ever figure on pulling the info out of one radio and copYing into another?

Was wanting to just copy my massive amounts of models from the gt3b into the c

Basically, read/save both data and memory tabs from the GT3B. Then load/flash both tabs into the GT3C.

However, I don't have any write ups for this

If I had to guess, you flashed the wrong firmware file...

After about 20 tries of trying to flash the firmware again it finally connected. I don't think breaking the board was the way to go. Anyway, It's working again.
On Another note you were out of GT3C's so I looked and found a coupon for $10 rebate for $50 amazon card. Basically picked up a GT3C for $38!
Thanks for all the help.
