Yea...I guess im pretty proud of my jeep. but its not quite a "tuff truck". More like a fragile fun crawl scale prodject. its not really intended for the rigers of full blown competition..thats why I have a honcho..cant wait for the next comp, I feel like my honcho is capable of winning if i can be a little more patient between the gates..
You are good at the comps I have more work to do though with both of mine. But next year will bring a new 2.2 for me no more wraith. I picked up a clod buster truck for cheap tonight just need the rest of the parts.
Sounds fun, but I already promised my boy to take him out in the 1:1 Jeep. We are going to be running carnage canyon. Might bring the little crawlers too...
I just picked up a new radio and bunch of parts for the scale rigs. I'm looking forward to running with you all on the 29th for sure.
hey vance or moose any of you got a set of 2.2 tsl super swampers ? need them for my showtime build or if you guys know someone local that has a set please lmk trying to find them by next weekend.
So the comp next weekend on the 29th we have changed the location from star to table rock. Thomas and Dean will be in California for Thomas's kidney transplant so for ease of use we have changed location the time will be the same for 1.9 and 2.2 as was planned before. Look forward to seeing everyone there
Sorry, I thought the 28th was a Saturday, It is supposed to be Sunday the 29th.
April 29th - This Comp will be on its own day. Come ready for a full day of running your cars if you have both a 1.9 or 2.2. If you only run one class you can come for just your class but we recommend you get there early to have your car scored. We will be running a long course and 2 other challenges for each class.
Location- Table Rock Time- 2.2 Class - - 9:00am Signups and Tech for 2.2 Class (this is important you must tech to get your scale number which will give you a time bonus to be deducted from your score) - 9.30am Course 1 will start. 1.9 Class - - 12:00-12:30 Signups and Tech for 1.9 Class (again this is important you must tech to get your scale number which will give you a time bonus to be deducted from your score)
- 12:30-1:00pm Course 1 will start for 1.9
We will run 1 Long Course per class, and 2 other challenges for each class. **This is important if you are not up to weight for 1.9 you will need to add weight before you can run. We can add lead to your car for you but we wont be placing it in the most optimum of places (ie: the roof or in the bed. This is important to make running fair. 2.2 like always will be unlimited for weight.
