Gear Head RC Scale Wheel Catalog 1.55, 1.9 & 2.2

Thanks for the reply Jim! Is there a pre order available?

-Matt

Matt,

There will not be a pre-order for these. Just click on "Email me when Back-In-Stock" and enter your e-mail address. You will get an automated e-mail the moment they are back in stock.

I am absolutely in love with the "sixer" wheel style.

Have you guys thought of maybe producing a 2.2 version of the "sixer". It is just a strong looking wheel but still keeping it appealing.

Keeup up the awesome work"thumbsup"

Thanks for the compliment!

A 2.2 Sixer is a possibility. We appreciate any feedback from you all.

Wondering if the 1.9 and 2.2 EZ locs are compatible with vanquish/mayhem hubs. Would be really great to have adjustable offset more than the amount available by flipping rim.

Which scale bolts work with the 1.9 UTE's hubs and rings? Thanks!

spankbomb,

To upgrade a set of (4) 1.9 UTEs (or Sixers or Hammers) you will need:

HUBS
At least (32 for UTE, 24 for Sixers/Hammers) M2 Acorn Studs: Locked Up RC M2 Acorn Nuts (35)

Driver: Locked Up RC 3mm Hex Socket Driver (tip)

RINGS
At least (24) M2 x 7 Scale Bolts: Locked Up RC M2 x 7mm Scale Hex Bolts (30)

At least (72) M2 x 1 Scale Bolts: Locked Up RC M2 x 1mm Scale Hex Bolts (85)

Driver: Locked Up RC 2mm Hex Socket Driver (tip)

Why did you discontinue the original "Ute" wheels? They are my favorite 1.9 wheel. I personally can't stand the all delrin version. Couldn't you at least make the aluminum rings available separately?

Gear Head RC 1.9 UTE Beadlock Wheels (4)

I'm insulted that they are listed as "obsolete"! Not cool, I am otherwise a big fan of Gear Head rims...

New 1.55 Krusher Wheel!

Jus,

Thank you for your feedback. We discontinued the original UTE because it was designed around the old CAC dimensions and beadlock hole spacing.

The new UTE with Delrin rings now has the Axial 1.9 beadlock hole spacing so customers can customize their wheels with our beadlock rings or others' beadlock rings.

We may consider selling aluminum rings in the future.
