G-FORCE RC4WD Scale Build off entry "ST8OFKANVAS"

Took advantage of the above average temperature and unusual calm day for Kansas and layed some paint down. Settled on Rust-oleum Gloss Dark Gray Painters Touch Ultra Cover. Yes Dark Gray is the official color. Its just what I was looking for. Next will be to install the windshield, canvas, lights, body accessories, build metal sliders and build metal rear bumper. Oh and install the links (if they ever show up )

Gettin closer.

Looks great, love the color you chose! I hope to scratch build a 79 Ford pick-up some day but it'll awhile. I'm starting to rethink my votes now:thumbup:

Man that interior looks great. Maybe a litle high tech for that old jeep:ror:

EB.........you need to refer back to page #1 . This is a blend or somewhere in the middle of the old Kaiser M715 and the Concept NuKizer. ....so A/C ...YES. GPS.... YES. DIESEL...NO........time allowing it will have a small block CHEVY V8. Thanks for looking bro.

this thing is sweet the only thing is the rims seem to be out of place they dont go with the rest of the rig just my 2 cents. but truly an awesome rig

Thanks!

I hear ya Forresto. And I have recieved PM's about that same issue. So your not alone. They just werent what I thought they would be.:x

So replacements are on the way."thumbsup"

Parts list updated. Had to alter original plans to assure completion by the deadline date.
Working on the rear bumper and ragtop this weekend.

Finishing up on the metal bumper. 1/2 in square tubing and 3/8 in strap and a small amount of body filler did the trick. All the angles were a pain in the rear.

On to the ragtop.
