Quarry Creeper
Thought this might be an interesting build thread to put together/share/utilize helpful tips from all you more experienced than I.
TF2 frame rails, Gelande II “guts”, and SCX10 II VP Rock Jocks with Incision links. Blazer body and extras currently in route via Fedex from RPP Hobby.
So far...
G2 transfer case skid plate for lower link mounts, and mounted TF2 leaf mount for upper link mount. Seems to look good. That being said, think I’ll just end up getting the 3/4 link kits for the link mounts so I can use a low profile TF2 skid plate.
Giving the Yeah Racing 90mm Desert Lizards a go for this build. Have some Prolines ready to go if I’m not diggin them though. I’m always willing to give up a little performance in exchange for mixing things up, and trying out something new.
Not willing to sacrifice appearance however Not a fan of the huge, and obnoxious white lettering all over the shock bodies, so took some flat black Rustolem to them. I like how they turned out. Set up with the droop option, as again it’s something new for me to try. Would appreciate some thoughts on that point actually. Pos or neg about a droop set up, specifically with a heavy body like the Blazer.
Lots more to come.
