I couldn't help myself, I wanted a super and finally decided to bite the bullet and get started.

I'll rattle off the parts list here (somewhat subject to change):
5th Dimension Super Dominator Chassis.
Progressive RC 3d printed gear cases, knuckles, chubs, hubs, link mounts.
Carbon fiber tube, 12mm OD x 8mm ID for axle tubes.
Dluxfab SAF low ratio berg gears.
Dluxfab 7mm FBA super length shafts, with 8mm stub shafts.
Dluxfab Dravtech short shocks, internally limited ~6mm.
Soft springs all around, for now.
BR Mini Dual from Dluxfab.
Team Brood Conflux tk-2 45t motors.
NSDRC rs800 v2 servos.
Sanwa M12

My initial plan was to use brushless outrunners, I've changed my mind and decided to go brushed for the super. My C2(TGH V3/Capra), 2.2pro, and 2.2s all use brushless outrunners. For the super though, I decided to go with a more proven platform... for now :D

I'm waiting on motors to be delivered in a few days, then I should be able to button it up. I am super stoked to get it on the rocks and start tuning, and LEARNING. :D

I'll drop a bunch of pics of the progress thus far.

Cheers,
Gable

The purple truck sitting on top of the super is my 2.2 sporty, 5th Dimension Sucker Punch, ar60's, etc. for size comparison.

That is one sexy rig!!!

You have been great to work with on the axles.
They look very nice!!
Hope they perform as well as they look...
