The trifecta of Berg vendors joining forces!

Great to hear!

Count me in for at least a couple sets!

Just wanted to jump back in here and let you all know we have material coming the for the 4ths as well. I will be offering a decent price break for those whom order a complete axle set.

Updates updates..

Good news:
Found a new local spline cutter. This means cheaper prices for everyone.

Bad news:
New cutter is awaiting for there new cutting tool to arrive so the gears can get splined.

ETA is pushed back, but sometime you got to wait for good things. Rest assured I'm harassing all parties involved lol

I am loving my proto set so far. Smooth, quiet, LIGHT! I had to adjust my throttle curve a little do too the increased snappiness from less rotating mass. The better your motors, the more noticeable this effect is.

Good idea to find a spline cutter to do the work. I was thinking about having gear blanks made and purchasing the spline cutters, making a mandrel to put the gears on, and then cut them on my cnc, using the 4th axis.
I might just have to be lazy and order a set of these instead..

Good work. Can't wait to see these in operation.

Any updates? Hoping for some good news.
I have a set of AL Fighters that have a big hole where some gears would fit nicely.

O they are coming! This project has been a battle but we are close. Our gear cutter had a family member past so we go pushed back during there closure. Understandable so I'm playing the patient card right now. I need these just as bad as you all!

Thank you for the update.
I understand, first hand, how a death can change progress on things.

Sounds like I need to call my local tool guy and start working on the 4th axis for my mill...

Thanks for understanding guys. Please remember that by waiting for our gears you will be cutting your rotating mass by more then half. Being made from a "quality" 4340 heat treated material you are getting the toughest and with our electro polishing process you are getting the smoothest. For when every bit counts, these are the gears you want!

Damn. You Berg guys just wont be happy until we ALL throw our XR axles in the ocean, will you? Everyday...something cool & new comes out for you Berganites & I get closer & closer to switching sides.

On a serious note...KILLER work Will. It's guys like you 3 that keep our little sport alive so THANKS!!!

J.D.

Gear blanks will be in our hands Monday, with machining to follow and then electropolishing. Very possible I will have finished product in 2 weeks.
