I think this would be the right section to put this in. I've found a really easy and simple way to make a scale sleeping bag without having to pay $10+ on ebay. All you need is an old sock, scissors, and a needle and thread. I made this very detailed, just in case someone needs a little help with this relatively simple project.
Step 1: Take the old sock and cut straight across at the end of the elastic part that goes from your shin to your ankle.
Step 2: Flip the sock inside out, so that when your done sewing the seam is on the inside.
Step 3: Sew along the bottom of the fabric with your thread and needle.
Step 4: Tie of the end of the thread and cut, leaving you with an inside out sleeping bag.
Step 5: Flip your "sleeping bag" right side out and bundle up so you can bring it on your next RC expedition.
Hope you liked this simple tutorial on making a scale sleeping bag for practically free! Have fun! "thumbsup"
P.S. This is very difficult if you have a cat that tries to play with the string that your sewing with...
