Dont be sad, they say Danish are one of the harder languages to master.

Travis Pastrana is going to recreate Knievel's ill fated jump at Ceaser's Palace. 52 cars, 16 buses, and the fountain will all be in play.

Pastana made the stunts look easy last night. I also thought it was very respectful that he mentioned that even though the bike looks similar to what Evel would have used, they are much better and lighter these days, so he had it easier last night than Evel did. (and that's ignoring all the tech that goes into these jumps now that Evel didn't have either) He's still a class act, as he's always been. "thumbsup"

He did make it look easy which I was expecting from Travis. With all of the insane thinks he has done these jumps were kinda tame. Still lots of fun to wat though!

The Indian bikes he rode are bad ass. I want one.

Of all the things he did last night the police escort down the Vegas strip has to be one of the most awesome parts!

They advertised a bunch of cool car and motorcycle related shows this week as well for Car Week. I don't watch TV much, but that will probably change this week.

When History Channel first started to promote this show a few weeks ago, I went to the Indian website and they give a narrative on this program as well as a breakdown of the bike he used. These bikes are specific-built for flat track racers, with all top-of-the-line race specific parts. Plan on coughing up $60,000 for one of your own. "thumbsup"

They are releasing a production version that should fall around $15,000...well it's Indian and they think they're the new Harley so add 20% on top of that and call it $18,000.

Oh and did anybody catch the Car Week show last night? They showed an animation of an engine to explain fuel injection. They had the spark plug installed upside down! WTF

liked to drive my quad like that, but i have also done it on public streets in a car. ( 20 - 25 M or so )

Needless to say back then in the 90ties i was a grade #1 idiot with luck in spades cuz all i ever got was fines for not wearing seatbelt and parking where it was not allowed, where really that was the minor things i did to the traffic code back then.

:lmao: DVS! I love when disrespectful punks get what they deserve. Like this old school video.

As much as I agree with your sentiment, I always take these videos with a grain of salt. A lot of times, the person filming always seems to be in the perfect vantage point to catch the action. Kind of like the Whataburger incident. I find it hard to believe a 30 year old spontaneously ripped off a kid's hat and threw a drink in his face. There are some reports that the kids provoked the guy (not that the adult acted appropriately, if that is the case.)

Yes, videos are always limited to the time they cover, but that doesn't mean they don't tell the whole story.

The MAGA hat incident shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentiment as these other two videos. That dude attacked teens for exercising their freedom to wear a hat - a ****ing hat. The jackass that assaulted them said the MAGA hat reminded him of the KKK. Really? That's his delusional problem not the teen's. The assaulter's own brother said he has been a bully his whole life. On top of it the attacker was the one that said the racist word in the video.

I read one story from one source that there was an "anonymous" witness that said the teens used racist words. Nothing more was ever said of that. Why? It probably didn't happen and was made up, fake news. Anonymous is a favorite word among lying journalists.

Here's another angle.

They tried to interview with Guy who got punched.

I didn't say either was fake. I said I take all this stuff with a grain of salt because everybody wants to be the next viral sensation on social media. Like the tool that faked the "We don't tip terrorists" on his server receipt and passed it around Facebook.

The guy at Whataburger was a total ass-hat. That was never is dispute. However, I don't think we are getting the whole story, either.

Sometimes we don't get the whole story, but sometimes we see the story with a closed mind despite all the facts being on the table...

damn i totally forgot about Pastrana jumping the Caesar's Palace Fountain. not for lack of knowing, just forgot to watch. im a HUGE fan of Travis and thank him for opening the door for my son to have an active, positive sport to keep him pointed in the right direction.
I used to watch Pastrana's NITRO CIRCUS on Mtv (the only show on Mtv i watched besides Rob and Big RIP Chris Boyken) and my son watched a few. then NITRO CIRCUS LIVE came out and featured guys on pro scooters jumping the megaramp. my son was HOOKED! Andrew continues to scoot today and is known at our local skate park as "The kid with the cleanest 360's here".

Thank you Travis. You are a LEGEND and a great positive role model in a time when such a thing is rare. i really cant think of a better man on this entire planet to recreate Evel Knievel's jump than Travis Pastrana. he has broken enough bones i think its a tie between them lol
