Not sure how many people will see this here, but I think it’s the best place to post. My grandfather raced off-road desert trucks professionally for the better part of 28 years. From the 60’s to the 90’s. He was told he would never be inducted to the Hall of Fame because he wasn’t a driver, he was a co-driver. Well today July 15th 2022 Jim Fricker has become the first co-driver to be inducted into the off-road motorsports hall of fame. It’s bitter sweet, because my grandpa Jim’s dementia has killed his short term memory, so he won’t be able to enjoy it like he deserves. But that doesn’t change how damn proud I am.

If those trucks could talk! That Old Dodge took a heck of a ride. Too bad there wasn't Go Pro cameras in the cab back then. Lol!
Do you race? I see Chad Hall and crew in Parker at the Blue Water Casino Races. Thank Your Dad for me. I lived in Nebraska back then so all of my off road information came from the magazines. Four Wheeler and Petersons Off Road and Wide World Of Sports would show some Baja 1000 action too. Those were the days!
